"Restaurant service needs to improve. Dinner service was very slow and we had to ask twice for drinks, they just totally forgot about it. However food was delicious. Buffet breakfast was poor, not worth the price. We noticed a big group having breakfast before us, so basically we had to eat leftovers, for example only one piece of cheese was left and the staff didn't added more cheeses, scramble eggs were cold, not a good bread selection, no fruits. Nobody care to ask if we need something. "

"We greatly enjoyed our time in Amboise and staying at the Chateau de Pray. The staff is excellent, very friendly and helpful. Laura is a treasure! The property is everything you imagine it will be taking you back to the time of kings and queens. But yet, modernized enough for the comfort that we all want in today's times. "A great place to stopover on the way back or to the south of France. The town of Chinon is 5 mins away and worth exploring. Host was excellent and very helpful. We got a vegetarian meal ( feel the menu should have this) which was put together for us and was excellent. Lovely room with a pleasant view. Only negative point was a school group who were above us were quite noisy but still got a good nights sleep."

"This was our favorite place we stayed in France. So peaceful and quaint. Woke up to the sunrise on the mountain side and birds chirping. The spa was gorgeous and had a variety of steam rooms and saunas. We loved the breakfast. Tons of parking"

"The reception staff were super helpful before and during our stay, advising us how to get to the hotel from the nearest train station (and recommending a cab company since they needed to be ordered in advance). We were warmly welcomed and super pleased with our rooms, which were beautiful, modern, well thought-out and very comfortable.
