Had several issues during our stay
Self check in was fine, but there was no electricity so heating was off during the middle of winter. We left for a few hours while we tried to get in contact with the host to get this fixed. Eventually the power returned. A big issue we had with the cabin was false advertisement. When we booked, the listing mentioned a hot tub as one of the amenities and that was one of the core activities we looked forward to on this trip. We wouldn't have come to this cabin if they didn't lie on the listing. This has since been removed from the listing due to our complaint. We were deeply disappointed and the host has been unresponsive. When voicing this to VRBO, even they couldn't get a hold of the host. With both the power issues and false advertisement, we considered getting a refund and finding an inn somewhere else but VRBO's call center was down so we ended up staying once the power was back. Even with the power, heating was an issue. The layout of the home made it difficult to retain heat in the family rooms. It remained 50-60 degrees during our winter stay. Overall the cabin experience was ok but we had problems with both the cabin and host. Pros: The small creek is very cute The surrounding area is nice The beds were comfortable Cons: Unresponsive host One of the rooms has a very loud AC/Heating unit. Even louder when it rains The carpets were not vacuumed. We weren't told ahead of time that appliances like the dishwasher were under maintenance and couldn't be used

Tv service
it was a very nice place very clean. We had no Internet the whole time we were there. we could not watch TV and we had a hard time using our phones. Other than that it was a great place to stay. We’re looking forward to coming back. The only suggestion that we had is that I think there should be rails up over that bridge. It’s a little bit scary going across it.

Cozy creekside cabin
The cabin was very clean and cozy and had everything we needed. We received clear check in and check out instructions and all information provided was accurate. Everything worked as it should. Although verizon phone service was not the best, we were able to connect to the provided wi-fi, so all was good. The location was great, very peaceful yet not too far from town. My family and I very much enjoyed our stay and I would definately stay again. It was an easy drive to Maggie Valley and Cherokee. The prorch and patio with view of the creek, the fire pit, and the trail and deck over the creek were so snice. The cabin was decorated wonderfully and the beds were comfy. It was also very nice to have some kitchen staples stocked for guest use, like coffee, filters, sugar, oil and spices; and also laundry supplies. The very nice hand soap in the bathrooms was a treat....something different than just your ordinary every day hand soap....the little touches like that made it an even nicer stay. Thank you for sharing your wonderful place!

Nice stay
Four stars because of some inconveniences such as popcorn kernels on a bed and dim lights. There was also no hot water but the issue was solved quickly. Great communication with the manager, nice location, and overall comfortable cabin.

The stream was amazing!
Comfy and quite location. Beds were comfy. Water pressure great! (That’s important) the grounds, porch… so great! The only negatives were the couches. One end of one of the couches was broken and sagged and impossible to use as recliner. The other couches were just hard to get out of reclined position. (But we are old :). Everything else exceeded expectations! Thank you so much.

Great place
We had great stay. Very clean place. We were given the incorrect log in for the wifi connection in the letter so first night had no connection but reached out to the owners and the correct log in was provided. Would recommend this cabin.
