Hummingbird Hill is located at 4000 feet in western Carolina mountains and is the perfect quiet mountain getaway. Your apartment has a private entrance and deck overlooking a pond. We are minutes from Lake Glenville and High Falls. Cashiers is just a 20 minute drive. It is a studio apartment with kitchen and bath with walk in shower. In addition to the king size bed if you are traveling with children we can provide a cot and portacrib.

We recently had the pleasure of staying at the Hummingbird Hill studio apartment in Cullowhee, NC, and it was a fantastic experience. **Host:** Our host, Debi, was gracious and fun, making us feel right at home from the moment we arrived. **Apartment:** The studio itself was delightful. The landscaping around the property was amazing, providing a serene and beautiful setting. Inside, the King-sized bed was extremely comfortable, ensuring we had restful nights. The fully equipped kitchen had everything we needed to prepare our meals, and the bathroom was very clean. **Amenities:** We particularly loved the comfortable porch, which offered stunning views of the mountain—a perfect spot for morning coffee or evening relaxation. The apartment also had a large storage closet, which was very convenient for keeping our belongings organized. The tasteful decoration, with wonderful pictures, added a lovely touch to the overall ambiance. We thoroughly enjoyed our visit and are already looking forward to a return visit. If you're planning a trip to Cullowhee, we highly recommend staying at Hummingbird Hill!

This was truly an amazing property. I spent the whole week in peace and quite. The bed was amazing, the kitchen perfect. Everything you need to cook a meal and rest. The yard was beautifully assigned with flowers plants and decorative trinkets. The owner was very kind and attentive. It was the perfect place to find a reprieve.

Great little getaway

We would love to come actually stay next time
Unfortunately, the motorcycle we rented had some mechanical issues and we never even had a chance to make it to the property. However, the host had great communication and was planning to meet us to be sure we had everything we needed.

Lovely studio apartment and great host. Breakfast was fresh eggs, fruit, orange juice and homemade humingbird cake. The name of the property is Hummingbird Hill and it is definitely on a mountain hill! Beautiful wrap around porch and firepit give an amazing setting to leaf peep at the peak! We will be back!

Quiet, private mountain retreat
Debi was an amazing host and the property is gorgeous! Like others have said it really feels like your in your own little fairy garden. She was responsive when needed but otherwise it was easy to forget she was there, it felt very private. I would 100% stay here again and highly recommend her place if you are looking for a quiet and peaceful stay in the mountains

Wonderful Place
My husband and I stayed here for our 20th anniversary. Debi has made the property into what looks like a beautiful fairy garden, with stepping stone paths on the hillside that lead down to the pond with waterfall. It was like being in an enchanted forest, very calm, relaxing, and quiet. Everything you need is already provided in the apartment. It was very private on our side of the home. She left us a delicious cake, lemon water, and fresh eggs from her chickens. Very lovely experience and we wouldn't hesitate to stay here again if the opportunity arises. Thank you Debi!

Beautiful Property
Debi is an amazing hostess. We had fresh eggs, orange juice and hummingbird cake in the refrigerator when we checked in. The studio apartment is well appointed and has everything thing we needed for a short visit. The grounds are beautiful and totally shaded. It was about 75 degrees at the property in late July while it was about 20 degrees warmer back home in the Atlanta area. We would like to come back in the fall to see the changing of the leaves in the mountains.
