Chugiak is within easy reach of a diverse collection of Anchorage’s well-known sights. The St. Nicholas Russian Orthodox Church and the Alpenglow at Arctic Valley are just two of the interesting place to visit here. And don’t miss Eklutna Lake and the Moose Run Golf Course.

Take your family to the mountains around Anchorage and enjoy the various wintersports at the Hillberg Ski Area.
Chugiak is a place steeped in sporting history. Spend a few hours in the stands of nearby Sullivan Arena, home to the University of Alaska Anchorage college ice hockey team in winter and the Alaska Aces ice hockey team. Enjoy a few post-match beers with local sports fanatics after the game in one of the nearby pubs, clubs or bars.
