Pros: The proximity to the Ag society arena.
Cons: Cleanliness. Sheets without a hole. Orange juice on hand.
Location: Close to the Ag Society.
The mattress was comfortable. The top sheet had a small hole in it. The towels were clean and generous in number. The room carpet was dirty, and in the hallway the carpet was separated where there were joins in the patterns, as well as being dirty. The breakfast was fairly good with various choices, but one morning, there was no orange or cranberry juice; they said it was on order. We booked for four nights and our keys stopped working after two days and had to be reprogrammed. We will not stay there again.

Little choice in CochranePosted Oct 9, 2014
Pros: Location was good because our business was in Cochrane and we needed a hotel in town. Breakfast was not too bad.
Cons: Bacon in the breakfast every day. Sausages are disgusting. Cleaner towels and ensure the rooms are cleaned before you come back to your room.
Location: Close to Canmore, without Canmore hotel rates. Mountains close, Calgary close.
We booked the Ramada in Cochrane, Alberta. There are only four hotels in town. We'd stayed at the Days Inn, and it was not bad, but more expensive than the Ramada. There's also a crappy motel which we won't stay at for obvious reasons. That leaves the Super 8, which we figured wouldn't be as nice as the Ramada. We booked through Expedia and the room we got was looking over the town and highway 22X, but we couldn't see that because the room window was 100% obscured by the Ramada's front door overhang and sign. We asked to be moved since we were staying a week and the front desk got us a 'mountain view' room. (in parenthesis only because the mountains are barely visible past the Super 8 across the street. The room was okay, décor is very dated and tired. Sheets were cleaned daily, which was nice. Towels changed on request but more than once had a horrible odour to them. One day we came back to the hotel at 4:30 p.m. only to find out room was in the process of being cleaned. Unacceptable. All in all, not a bad stay but next time we'll stay in the Super 8.

Great place to sleep!Posted Oct 6, 2014
Pros: Easy to find, comfortable, helpful staff.
Cons: carpets are getting a little tired.
The room was comfortable and the bathroom more than adequate. I slept well which was the reason for the room.

In the listing for the hotel it says cribs available. They did not have any at this location. The power in iur room tripped when we used the microwave and we had to wait for someone to access the mechanical room to restore power. Would not recommend this hotel

Great HotelPosted Sep 12, 2014
The room was excellent. My only complaint is the morning breakfast. Very poor. We left and went to Smitty's.

A great place to stop. A bit off Highway1 but the area is quiet and has all the amenities required for individuals and families alike. Several restaurant options in the area. A definite 'come again' place
