Overnight quick stay

Posted Aug 19, 2014
Pros: Great bed
Cons: TV remote and guide
Very comfortable bed and room. Toilet seat was loose. The TV remote and onscreen guide were antiquated. The keycard did not work very well. The Harley Davidson riders should be asked to park in another parking lot.

Newer Hotel

I had a problem with my key not working EVERY time i left the room. The staff didn't really do much for this inconvience except reprogram my key and apologize. One staff even gave me a bottle of water and 2 packages of cookies for all my problems...such an insult for such a big inconvience!!

Nice facility, walking distance to what we needed

Hotel is very clean, friendly staff, fun pool and good fitness area. Did find it quite pricey, most other hotels were booked up as their rates were much less. Won't stay there again at that rate.

Nice Hotel on the main drag

Posted Sep 24, 2013
Pros: The hotel was quiet and staff was friendly and helpful.
Cons: Offer breakfast as an incentive. The Hotel's restaurant is very small and not really family oriented.
Location: The railway museum is very interesting.
The Hotel is new and nicely decorated. The rail line is directly behind the Hotel but it did not affect the stay. There is a small pool with a waterslide but we did not use it.

Not Staying at this hotel again...

Posted Aug 7, 2013
Pros: Can't really say that I have any...
Cons: No continental breakfast which most travellers have gotten used to and the price was terribly high..
Location: For our party - very good..
I found that what we got for our money was unreal. The restaurant in the hotel was not bad food - but very slow service. We were in Cranbrook for a 50th wedding anniversary. We were advised to book into here by someone who did not live in Cranbrook, B.C. and she wanted everyone to be together - so therefore some of us took her advise and stayed here. Only good part about it was that we were only a few blocks away from the party - however others stayed at the Days Inn etc. and were even closer. We did not get a continental breakfast - which we have become so accustomed to getting and although it was clean etc. - we just felt that the price was terrible and we certainly would not recommend it to anyone. Also were advised that booking it through expedia only saved us a few dollars as they had a senior rate there which we were not aware of.

Nice hotel

Posted Oct 2, 2012
Pros: Location, free wi-fi, comfortable room
Location: The hotel is located on the main road through Cranbrook. Convenient stopover on road trip to the USA.
We stayed in a room with a king bed - it was spacious with a comfortable sitting area, flat screen tv and a mini fridge. Even though the hotel is on a main road, our stay was quiet. Checking in & out of the hotel was quick and easy. We had breakfast at Vincenzo's Bistro located in the hotel lobby - the food was good and the service friendly.

Best Western Cranbrook

Nice hotel. Cranbrook did not have a lot to offer but since this was a stop in a long drive home that was not important.
