"We stayed during the off season (April) and loved the location of this place to some of our favorite wineries! It's also a quick trip into Watkins Glen. The place itself was quirky with a fully stocked kitchen and clean bathroom. We saw the owners a few times and they are incredibly friendly and did everything to make our stay enjoyable. Other reviews complained about the beds but we didn't mind them at all. The living space was perfect for our two kids to play."

"This is a nice little spot if you're looking to hang out in downtown Watkins Glen, but not stay downtown. Let's be honest, Watkins Glen isn't that big, but this place at least gives you some peace and quiet. It's conveniently located between the town and the track, so great for a race event. Samira was very easy to get in touch with. There had been a miscommunication regarding the key, but she called me back within about 5 minutes of her messaging her and we got it cleared up. The house is clean and there is an ample mount of room. We were actually worried about people having enough places to sleep on (beds/couches), but there was actually more than enough for the 7 of us staying there. Plenty of furniture and rooms for people to hang out in and although we weren't there much, this was nice. My only criticism is the water pressure in the showers, but being that this is a lake home and not knowing what the plumbing system is, this probably just "is what it is". If you have a large group, you may want to space out showering, but other than that, we really had no complaints and would stay here again in the future."

"My two siblings, their spouses and 4 children, our parents, and my husband and I thoroughly enjoyed this beautifully decorated and spacious home. Breakfasts at the big kitchen table, cookouts on the back patio, lawn games in the back yard, and kids' after-dinner theatrical performances with the front porch as a candlelit stage made for a rare and memorable whole-family gathering. The beds were amazing, everyone was very comfortable and able to get their own space when desired. And I loved the artistic touches. To bicycle, we put the bikes on the car and found some desolate country farm roads not far away. To swim in the lake, we headed to a few different parks. The NY State Parks free parking card was greatly appreciated, and we saw every waterfall in the area! We had a fun daytrip to Ithaca (for lunch at Moosewood and used book and record shopping), especially enjoyed the gorgeous Forge and Damiani wineries, the Hideaway, as well as Two Goats for beer. The views from all of these spots are absolutely breathtaking. Thank you Nicole & Jonathan!"
