Close to Salem at a good price.

Pros: It had a refrigerator and a microwave in the room. The free breakfast was OK. Inexpensive and clean.
Cons: Updated interior and an improved breakfast selection.
Location: About 15-20 minutes from Salem and about 30 minutes from downtown Boston.
It was clean though dated. Hidden behind Timothies, it was difficult to find.

If you have absolutely no other option

Posted Sep 20, 2014
Pros: There was a Walmart nearby that sold the lysol we needed.
Cons: Customer service, open the windows and air the rooms out occasionally. Fix the wireless.
No internet service in your room (due to a thunderstorm yet never updated to post information online) which was a major inconvenience. The room smelled like mold and funky socks. Also at 5:25pm they still hadn't cleaned the room. I did not appreciate spending the day working to come back to a unmade room and no new bars of soap since they give you a mini mini sized one. When I called the front desk to inquire, they told me with an attitude that they clean the check-out rooms first and THEN they do the stay-overs. Did i mention that it was 5:25pm? The next morning I go to "breakfast" and there weren't any bagels left. I asked the clerk if he could put some bagels when he get a chance and a simple 'ok, no problem' would have been sufficient but I got a "That's what I'm doing" instead. It was such a turn off that I left with the intention to find a Starbucks on my way out. I highly recommend that for the price paid that Motel 6 would have been a better option.

Location served my purposes.

Posted Aug 19, 2014
Pros: The room was clean.
Cons: Spruce it up and add more cleaning crew.
Check out time is 11AM. Check-in time is 3PM. I (me) and two couples arrived between 2PM and 245PM. We were told to come back in about one half hour. (we met at the Bar about 100 yards away and swapped stories). With less than an hour to 3PM, no rooms were available. I have stayed in 100's of hotels and have NEVER had this experience. The room was adequate, the TV had poor transmission, and the walls transmitted sound from one room to another. Not my best hotel experience.

Only One Thing Wrong

Posted Aug 18, 2014
Pros: The size of the rooms. The stay. The location.
Cons: The WiFi is frustating and unseless.
I was staying in a double room with two king beds. The room was massive and the beds were super compfortable. The shower had plenty of hot water and a lot of pressure. The staff were friendly and tried to be helpful. We did not swim but the pool was very clean and every day there were families using it. The only problem is that from the day I arrived until the day we left we did not have internet in the room. I asked at the front desk each day and they told me that they will reset the routers because that usually helped. It didn't ! For five days, every night I would sit in the breakfast room so that I could have internet access. In my room I always had one or two networks to connect to, but they never had more than one bar and never actually allowed me online. My last night there, thery didn't even have internet in the breakfast room. I sat until 1 in the morning waiting for them to get the thing sorted out.
