Unfortunately the pool was closed for maintenance, they were adding chemicals. We were a group of 6 friends & asked if we could simply sit in the pool area on the lawn chairs and were told no because of this inconvenience we were virtually left with no slit to enjoy the beautiful day. If not for this would certainly had given a higher rating. Everything else was good with the property

The restaurant was delicious, rooms were spacious and clean. The pool was outdated and not well maintained, hot tub was broken. The staff was absolutely lovely

Very modern, newer decor hotel with nice, clean amenities. Location was perfect once leaving Peggy's Cove without going into busy Halifax. Just a minute down the road from shopping and great restaurants without getting lost for directions. Great breakfast too.

We thoroughly enjoyed our two nights at Brier Island Lodge. The motel room accommodations are showing their age but our room was clean and bed comfy and the view spectacular. What more can you ask? We were impressed with the restaurant most of all--the focus on local food, some from their own garden, the friendliness of wait and front of house staff, the quality of the food offered was also marvelous. We drove the island to see the 3 lighthouses and enjoyed our walk on the bog boardwalk. Brier Island was on our bucket list of travel destinations in Nova Scotia and this trip did not disappoint!
