We stayed for three nights and first time in Darwin. Have stayed at the Mantra in Melbourne. Beautiful suite. Comfortable rooms and décor good. The location was good also.

Pros: central to everything
Cons: the pool maintainence
Location: central to the main street, and the red bus which takes you all around Darwin. Walking along the foreshore and down to the wharf.
A great weekend away and excellent choice of accommodation! The pool and spa needs some attention, tiles falling off and on bottom of pool. Great views of the harbour and sunset. We certainly hit the jack pot with the buffet breakfast!!! so many choices. We look forward to returning to Darwin one day and hopefully our stay will be as good next time!

Great location close to town & BeachPosted Oct 6, 2013
Pros: Location , Location , Location . I also liked the cleanliness
Cons: Guest parking facilities. Front desk attendance at night and the location of the floor phones is to high for short people to read.
Location: The town centre and all the night life and restaurants are all very close and accessible.
Overall our stay was enjoyable . Unfortunately on our last night our neighbours directly along side of us in 702 where very noisy and I was unable to get any sleep. I tried to call the reception a number of times and had no response this was at 03:00 and 04:30 . I then went to the desk and it was not attended. I then had to bang on the neighbours 702 door very loudly until they came to the door with very little change . The only other disappointing thing was parking was expensive for a hotel patron.

The rooms are very comfortable but the bathrooms need an upgrade and so does the pool. all of the staff were very friendly and helpful.

Ocean view, level 3 can only see treesPosted Aug 17, 2013 on Hotels.com
I would have rated the service better had the people on reception been pleasant. We found reception arrogant, unmotivated and unhelpful. The Housekeeping people were fantastic and the restaurant staff were absolutely wonderful. Ellen made breakfast most pleasant and her happy demeanour almost made up for reception coldness. Our card key deactivated everyday so a trip to the room was always a 2nd or 3rd trip to reception. Reception offered no clue was this happened, another guest said the same was happening to her. Staying 7 days this became a boring task, especially when we were continually met with a blank stare. Great location, parking was well explained, parking on the street is between 8am and 5pm, free on weekends, had to pay for secure parking if the free onsite parking was full. This was easy to do. When checking out, more blank stares, it would have been nice to ask if we enjoyed our stay, or at least shown some sort of pleasant chatter, have a safe trip home. But not a word, not even goodbye. I found this rude. Everyone else in Darwin are down to earth and this was our 3 trip and 1st bout of snobbery.
