The hotel was nice and clean. Great location and pool area. Had a problem with the tub draining. Called twice to have it fixed but that didn’t happen. We had to shower with dirty water up to our calves. We also went to the restaurant at 10:30am for breakfast but were told they had to stop serving to get ready for lunch. We felt that was very disappointing! Other than that the stay was good!

I like that the property is facing the ocean and has a beautiful view. However, the carpets are all very old, cabinets are dirty with greases on the surface inside rooms. We killed a bug in bed, one of the lamps was broken, and then were able to move to a different room, which is cleaner. However, I still got bug bites the next morning when i woke up. We appreciate that the staff were able to act quickly to move us to a different room. However, due to availability, we moved from the most expensive room type to one of the cheapeast room type, but the hotel wouldn't give us a refund for the room type price difference. We got the resort fee wavied though (which is less than 1/3 of the room price difference) after being on phone for an hour. We didn't file a complaint about killing bugs in bed and getting bug bites, and we were simply requesting to get a partial refund for the room price differences due to we were moved to a much cheaper room to stay after killing a bug in bed and with a not fucntioning light in room. My vacation was partially ruined because of this hotel's room issues. It is just simply not clean. I suggest guests to book other nearby hotels that are newer/cleaner with more friendly staffs.

Beach access was amazing. The pool and hot tub were not crowded and perfect temperatures. They gave our 8 year old son a free beach ball which he loved! The smores at night at the campfire was such a sweet touch. Our room was large and clean. Everything about this property was fantastic. Would definitely come back.

We’ve been staying at the shores for 2 years now. Property is overall okay. Lost a few key features that I liked which was the Starbucks (replaced with “the market”) and no longer get a signature drink voucher from the bar outside upon arrival (this was a nice touch). Second time in a cabana suite and the rooms are tired. Carpets need replacing, the curtains need replacing and mattresses need replacing. This would go a long way to refreshing the space. Hot tubs were cold. I am not sure I would stay here in the future for the price.

The Shores is my break from reality, my peace of mind. The food at the Azure restaurant is awesome and the smell of the hotel when you enter is immaculate. I can't forget about the fire pits meant for snores at night, I don't eat smores but it's a peaceful vibe.

The staff were amazing- every single interaction! The valet service outstanding- yes you have to pay for this service- $25 a day to park your own or $30 a day for valet! Pool was heated- nice outdoor dining and food and drinks always available at Tiki Bar Every where was super clean! Daytona drive on the beach waa new to us! This section of town calm and Traffic nothorrible Nice play to run away for a few days! Definitely $$$$ Lotsa hidden fees is my one warning to all!

As soon as you walk into the lobby you are created with a friendly smile and the beautiful spa-like aroma. The only issue is the shower, there's no shower door and there's no way of NOT getting water all over the bathroom floor. We asked for extra towels and they were delivered timely. Great service - the staff is very kind!

Very clean and updated hotel. The Staff was pleasant and helpful. I enjoyed the dining options, and in house conveniences (marketplace store, indoor dining and lounge, and poolside dining with an ocean view. There are several fire pits for evenings at poolside and making s’mores (kits provided at the front desk), and a poolside tiki hut that serves Spirits. I gave 4 of 5 stars because my room’s phone did not work, and I reported it and waited for maintenance to show, but they never came. I was a bit annoyed, because I had a dog with me and needed to be present for maintenance. There is a slight inconvenience having to get on the elevator to floors 3 or 5 to access the ice machines. There is no microwave in the rooms, but there is one in the Marketplace store and one in the lobby. There are mini refrigerators in the rooms, and refillable bottles to access the water machines throughout the hotel. I stayed in a Cabana Rm (102) near the hot tub, and children were using it unsupervised as a baby pool. There’s no enforcement of the “Must be 17 y.o.” I also had to request Rm svc by 3pm, because they hadn’t been there. Someone did come within 30 mins. My stay was after the Spring break crowd, so the hotel was not crowded. I would absolutely stay again.

Amazing staff, amazing customer service! We surprisingly got a room upgrade and the room was such a pleasant surprise. The hotel itself is beautiful. Gorgeous sunrise view from oceanfront rooms. Every single staff member we encountered was friendly and professional. The self-service parking is huge and is connected to the hotel by a covered walkway. Breakfast at Azure was pretty good. Would definitely stay here again.

The Shores Resort was a great location for our trip to Daytona Beach. However, the staff there made the stay outstanding. Every person on site was extremely friendly and helpful. They made our stay so enjoyable!

We LOVED our stay here. The ocean view room is absolutely the most gorgeous view to wake up too. Staff is so friendly. Our rooms were clean. The only thing that was a down side even though I know it’s not their fault, is that if you have a room with a shared door for shared rooms, you can hear the people next door to you. Other than that, 10/10. Definately coming back.

This property was great, the staff was amazing. The only negative comment is that the area surrounding the hotel was in a lot of construction. Lot of businesses closed, and it was run down. Sad to see.
