The property was rustic and absolutely beautiful. There was so much to do and everything needed to make my familys trip unforgettable. Location was perfect, staff was so helpful and friendly, i really cant say enough about it!

The property id 30 minutes from Banff. The accommodations were terrible. Furnishings, carpet, couch, lighting looked like 20 years old or older. Sliding glass door to deck was impossible to lock, No shower in Master. AC was beyond ridiculous, thermostat was stuck just bad situation. Had to go down stairs to shower. Landscaping was bad to terrible. Front desk wouldn't answer calls. When I did reach them once of several calls regarding the sliding glass door I was told the maintenance people went home. No follow up the following day. Overall a very bas stay and at best a 1 star property

Lovely cabin with really beautiful scenery. It was very clean, and stocked with everything you need. Friendly reception staff and tons of things to do on site such as the game room and swimming pool. Canmore was only about 10 mins away to get any groceries needed for our stay.

Great experience!!
My family and I stayed at the Banff Gate Mountain Resort recently and overall had a great experience. The grounds are beautiful, had parking in front of our cabin, spacious pool. We stayed in a cabin and overall it was comfortable and clean (couldn’t use the ceiling fans and the floor fans as there was so much dust built up). The beds were comfy and the kitchen has what you need.

We had an amazing stay. The cabin was clean and well stocked. Staff was friendly and helpful. Loved the game room and activities available for free use while you were there. Pool was nice. Hot tub was very hot.

stove big element dead; bathroom drain plugged; back door gasket torn therefore very cold in porch; dishwasher does not wash top row because rotator dirty; dirty windows all over, kitchen floor has planks overlapping, danger to trip and this is a liability !!!

This resort is reminiscent of growing up in the 80’s. The cabins are warm and cozy, the staff are down to earth and friendly and the chalet offers so many things to do on site that if you arrived and never left the resort for the duration of your stay you would be quite happy and content.

We stayed at cabin 2. The beds are really comfortable, complete amenities, beautiful view of the mountains. They have a pool and hot tubs.

Great place to unwind and relax in the woods away from the touristy areas with a great view of snow covered peaks. However this is not in Canmore as they claim! It is farther out from Banff. It is about 40 km away from Banff and 12 km away from Canmore. The property is a bit outdated but the location in the mountains makes up for it with Sauna, swimming pool which are valuable on a rainy day.

Overall had horrible service from employees and there were bugs in the cabin. Requested for crib but only had playpen and staff simply said "we don't know how to assemble it please google." We booked a cabin for 4 people for 5 nights. The bathroom had 1 bar of soap each. To get extra soap you have to check-in with the reception each day as they give out 1-2 soaps only per ask. Also know that check-out is at 10:30. They will call you at 10:45 to remind you to check out but by that point they have already charged you an extra $25, and it is an extra $25 per 30 mins of stay. No concessions given if you were cleaning the cabin or if you were driving over to the main reception area to check-out. Overall it is not worth it to stay as they have blunt and incompetent staff.
