"This was a very nice hotel. The included breakfast was full ing and tasty. The heavier curtains weren't quite as darkening as I would have liked, but the bed was very comfortable. The bus pass and discount at museums and the zoo was very helpful. I will definitely stay here again the next time I'm in Basel."

"A perfect 10 hotel. Loved our room, staff was so friendly and helpful. Our luggage did not make the transfer in Frankfurt to Basel. Hotel staff did everything they could to help us. Close to old town and wonderful restaurants. "

"Hotel was very near the train station. Was given a tourist card which allowed me to travel foc on the buses and tram for the period I was in Basel. Breakfast was good. "

"The staff was friendly and helpful. We were provided with a pass for public transportation, although we did not use it as we were only there overnight, it was a nice touch and would be handy if you were staying in the area. "

"Although there was building work on one side and roadworks on the other, this did not impact on our overall stay. We were checked in by the very animated and informative Samuel, who explained everything to us in perfect English. The room was very spacious and some really nice touches you keep finding during your stay. There is a fantastic lock on the door which prevents anyone coming into the room. You can find the little switch on the side of the door, switch to red. The bed was probably one of the most comfortable beds I have ever slept on and with the exceptional shower, found it difficult to leave the room. Nice touch with the sweets and flavoured water in the sitting area of reception. Loved the chocolate after check out. The only downside is the additional cost of breakfast, which we decided not to pay for."
