"Sonnetta Residency is a homestay located in the heart of Fort Kochi district in Princess St. It is in easy walking distance to the foreshore and Chinese nets as well as the ferry service. Breakfast is included in the price but other meals are unavailable, however there are many very good and reasonably priced restaurants in walking distance in Princess St, Rose St and others. But remember that you are in a resort- best to go out and do some local shopping to get a real feel for the area. We were surprised to be told that the property is about 25 years old, because it's superb maintenance suggested a much younger age to us. "It was described as a "Honeymoon Cottage" but it was more like a home stay/guest house. The owners were wanting to make our stay as comfortable as possible which was nice, but everything was rather basic. The power dropped out every half hour or so. Nothing in the neighborhood was of interest. And, a bit out of the way. I'd recommend this for travelers needing accommodation for a wedding or a party in the area but not really for tourists."
