Excellent hotelPosted Nov 21, 2013
Location: Near the mall with the ski slope, walking distance. Half hour taxi to burj khalifa.
Staff faultless - couldn't help you enough. Also got a free upgrade to their ambassador suite which was fabulous! Would definitely recommend and would stay here again.

Pros: Very comfortable and local decor
Although not on the beach, this hotel is just a short & cheap taxi ride from any ware . Walking distance of 5 minutes to the Mal & ski slope. About £4.00 taxi to the water park & £6.00 to the marina depending on exchange rate means you have a great base a a sensible price.

Pros: Staff excellent, helpfull and attentive.
Cons: Access to Swimming Pool should be communicated to Guests as it was closed during our stay. Restaurant is very expensive and hardly used.
Location: All fairly remote needing Taxi/Metro to reach.

It was beyond expectation. Welcomed with icy cold juices. Large room and king bed with office desk. All people were friendly. Highly recommended.

The room was really night. Great value. There was construction in the lobby during our stay but luckily we weren't really around much during the day. Nice and friendly staff.

This was my first stay in Dubai and I was very happy with the quality of this hotel. I would be happy to stay here again. Hotel has free daily shuttle to beach and Dubai mall.

Recommended for a stay in Al BarshaPosted Jun 3, 2013
Pros: Quality of service
Cons: The dark, unlit exterior and little effort to keep it clean
Location: Nice, quiet neighbourhood, with development work taking place alongside, but quite pleasant little noise.
We were a little skeptical after we booked about the hotel being able to offer a four-star service. It actually turned out to be quite a pleasant experience. The hotel is superbly clean from inside. However, there is quite a bit of construction work taking place in the adjacent plot, which keeps that side of the hotel unclean, and the hotel does not pay much attention to keeping that face of it clean either. When you enter the interior, it actually changes into a very clean interior decor. The wash room floors are a little worn down, which is strange since the wash room fittings and the room are well kept. Sometimes the housekeeping guys wouldn't understand clearly your message, but this can be dealt with trying to speak more simply! The biggest advantage is of course, the free Wi-Fi which was primarily the reason we chose the hotel, since we had to stay near to the Mall of Emirates and its Sheraton, and there were few that offered this facility (The UAE hotels for some strange reason continue to exhibit this miserly behaviour of a surcharge for the Wi-Fi). Overall, we were happy with our stay and would recommend this to anybody who would want to stay in Al Barsha near to the Mall of Emirates. The neighbourhood is still developing, and is a lot quieter than most of the places in Deira and Bur.
