It was fine for us for a couple of days - we booked just so we could go to Ghost Ranch and Plaza Blanca - but I don't think the space is conducive to long stays. "If you’re looking for a quiet weekend getaway, this is it! The house was amazing and well equipped for cooking and everything you’d need for a long weekend! The host was amazing. The location is in a small community and everyone was super friendly. The house had great outdoor space, which was awesome for us because we brought our 2 dogs. Overall, we would definitely recommend this place to anyone."

"It’s a pretty isolated property. Lots of peace and serenity. The kids did dogs and s’mores after building a campfire. If you have a Tesla this probably isn’t the best place. "The check-in process at Casa Escondida was about as hassle-free as they get. The property was quiet and serene, the staff polite and professional. The breakfast.. I mean don't even get me started. It was SO good. The only negative is that we only stayed for one night on the way to Albuquerque from Durango, definitely recommend. There arent fridges in the rooms and the wifi is spotty but the stay was thoroughly enjoyable"
