Constant smell of marijuana in the hallways. Walls quite thin. Exit ways were blocked in multiple places. No parking available. Close to the airport. Shuttle service was good.

The hotel is really clean. The rooms are great. The waiter we had in the restaurant was fantastic . A young fellow at the desk was kind enough to do my booking for our flight. My only issue is an awful lot of cigarette butts on the ground where you park going up to the entrance.

Love the hospitality from the check in to the service at the restaurant. Staff were all amazing! Found the room cold and “not cozy”. However, it’s simply a place to sleep before our flight. Would def come again.

The bedroom was spacious and very clean. I was delighted to find a fridge and microwave in the room. I was also pleased to have an easy chair and foot stool along with a desk and chair. The towels were soft and the bed linen was good, my husband and I had a good comfortable sleep. The gentleman who signed us in at reception was very helpful and friendly. There was a reasonable choice for the included breakfast, unfortunately the pancakes could have been fresher, probably been out for a while, we ate at 6am. The included transport was good and the driver was friendly, it only took minutes to get to the airport. I would highly recommend the Quality Inn Halifax for an overnight stay and will certainly use it again.

When we checked out this morning, we noticed a yellow stain and a pee filled towel in the bathtub. We checked in at 2 am so we didn’t notice then. When I mentioned it this morning at the front desk she told there was nothing they could do for us because we had booked our room through Expedia. It’s a strange policy. I don’t know what can be done but something has to be. There were cigarette butts littered all around the back door that we left out of. We stayed in room 156.

I've never been in a place where they charge like the Holiday Inn but deliver like a half-star *** hole. Doors that don't close, heaters that sound like jet engines, rusty bathtubs. What a dump. And they have the nerve to charge an arm and a leg for this. I could buy a great steak from Superstore for less than a salad and fish & chips from this place. I have had faster internet on a dial-up system than what they have in this hotel. This is probably the worst internet I have encountered in this province. I can't get a decent download. Sending text alone over Yahoo mail is slow. The thing just goes around thinking about sending.

Good location to the airport! However, when we checked in and went to our room, one key did not work. When we got into our room, there were suitcases from other guests. We quickly went back to front desk and they got us sorted out.

The checking in was awkward. We had an unfriendly hospitality trainee with an attitude. Her listening skills were nil, she spoke over us when asked a question and was frankly irritated with a simple query about being asked to initial a rate sheet that displayed no $ amount. All in all we got through it but for the small savings we’ll stay at the Hilton next time.

The place is not very clean.. The reception desk not to friendly, restaurant staff was friendly and food was ok Paid $50 tax for extra vehicle, on our return flight there was 1 shuttle to pick up about 30people waiting in the rain…they could only take 10 passengers…I had to take a taxi that cost me $25…I went to the hotel desk to complain about my taxi charge her answer was oh well, you just had to wait for the shuttle Not very friendly hotel

Limited staff. No one answered the phone when we landed and collected our luggage. We just barely caught their (promised) shuttle. Had to run to the end of the arrivals car access to catch it in time. Long wait to get checked in and no system or apparent order. Tried to protect our turn while the access seemed almost random. Good people but system could stand improvement. Dated hotel. Awkward bathroom/sink/coat rack area at entrance to room. That was bad design or a fix up later.

Online photos were deceiving, bathroom was not super clean, tub had a lot of worn out rust spots. Not enough plug ins, only tv and 1 lamp was plugged in. The room served its purpose but I probably wouldn’t stay there again.
