Good hotel. Nothing special. However, I do like the location because it was walking distance from restaurant and not to far from beach. The biggest problem is parking. There's not enough and its inconvenient getting in our out at the same time as others. Other than that we didn't have any problems.

Nice locationPosted Dec 26, 2013
Pros: Location, secure parking for our vehicles.
Cons: Heat the pool and fix the Jacuzzi. Make the breakfast more interesting and flavorful
Location: Garibaldi Bar down the street and the food cart on the corner for good margaritas and fish tocos. A day trip to La Bufadora
El Cid is near good restaurants, coffee shops, and shopping. The fresh food carts on the corner had excellent cerviche and fish tacos. However, i went down with 4 friends that also made reservations at El Cid. We were looking forward to sipping a Margarita at the pool and enjoying the jacuzzi in the evenings. The pool was closed, unheated, and the Jacuzzi was broken and out of service. The rooms were clean, staff professional but the continental breakfast was pretty boring. Also, Expedia charged me $95.00 per night plus taxes and fees. and my friends were smarter going directly tot he hotel for $75.00 a night on their rooms.

Needs Better Internet ServicePosted Sep 3, 2013
Pros: The office staff and the servi bar was great.
Cons: They need to improve their Internet connection.
Location: It is in the nice section of the tourist area.
This hotel needs to improve their WiFi Internet service. I was right in front of the Pool server / antena and it kept disconnecting. Hopefully it will be fixed before our next visit. I work online and had to cancel several classes because of the poor Internet connection.

Went with the family and had a great time. The hotel and the staff are really nice. The hotel is extremely convenient, you walk out of the hotel and you are where all the action is. Rooms are very large and have nice balconies facing the main street. Continental breakfast is: Butter, Jelly, Toasted Bread, Mexican Bread, Fruits, Juice and coffee. It's okay for a light breakfast. I would suggest the hotel to spend a little more and include some more items to the breakfast. We paid USD 89.00 including taxes for two queen beds and consider a little pricey for Ensenada. Over all excellent trip, and we would definitely go back!

Pros: The rustic Mexican style. Felt hacienda like.
Cons: Loud Banda music from bar/club.
Location: Perfect. Close to everything.
Loved the hotel. Close to everything. Only thing I didn't like was the loud "Banda" music at 2am but I also was facing the main drag. Next time I'll ask for a room far from the main busy street.
