We couldn't have been happier!Posted Jul 14, 2014
Adelaide house is literally right next to IL D'uomo! You are just feet from the Piazza and the famous Gates to Paradise and it's an easy walk to and from the train station. The room was clean and spacious, yes it is up a few flights of stairs (keep that in mind if you are elderly or handicapped) and there is no elevator/lift....but we didn't mind. We would certainly stay here again....and eat at Dante's which is also just around the corner. Another upside, if you like shopping is that you are about a 2 minute walk from the fashion district too.

Great Hotel, friendly & centralPosted Oct 19, 2013
Pros: Location, price, helpful staff, comfortable bed , good bathroom and plenty of space.
Cons: breakfast was included in the price, it was the same every day, and not that great.
Location: The location is great next to The Duomo, short walks to all different styles of cafes. Walking distance to most popular tourist & interesting sights.
Adelaide House is a very good place to stay, in a very convenient location, close to all parts of Florence, a short walk from the train station, and is very central to all of the common tourist locations, with lots of good restaurants close by. The room was spacious, the bed was comfortable, the bathroom was very nice and the staff was very helpful. It had everything we needed. There are quite a few stairs for those not able to manage them, it was not a problem for us. Highly recommend this Hotel, we did not have any problems.

The good news is the hotel's location the bad news is that you can't trust their reservation system. Ours was canceled and didn't know since we were en route and had no access to wifi to get email or phone call. We found out by a post-it left at door panel. The owners were apologetic and very friendly but we faced a fiasco of being shuffled to 2 other hotels. We nearly spent 2 hours to get settled. If you want a secure room after receiving a confirmation, I would stay away from this place.

Great location..friendly peoplePosted Jul 10, 2013
Location: Duomo out the front door.
Breakfast was very nice. Did not have air conditioning for half the stay. All the sudden the remote showed up in our room. Owner was kind and called the daughter who spoke better English with any questions. Clean room and fantastic location.

Small hotel with a great locationPosted Jun 6, 2013 on Hotels.com
This is a nice little place right next to the Duomo and within walking distance of many of the museums and sites. It is also close to the train station. It is on the second floor (no elevator so pack light). Breakfast is included and was delivered to the room every morning. It included an assortment of cookies and croissants and tea or coffee. The rooms were very comfortable and ours had a lovely painted ceiling. Overall, I would highly recommend this place!

Great central location and spacious roomsPosted Sep 2, 2012
Pros: Large spacious and clean room
Cons: Poor breakfast
Location: Central, just metres from the Duomo
Very central hotel, just metres away from the Duomo. Very clean and large room with modern conveniences. Only let down was breakfast, very poor, pre-packed croissants and tasteless coffee. Otherwise excellent place and we would return there as everything was central and very welcoming.
