“Comfortable and convenient”

“Good for the most part”

The hotel was in a very convenient place, across from a CVS, Dunkin Donuts, and fast food places. It also had two restaurants on the property that hotel guests got a discount from. The room itself was great, the TV was huge, the bed very comfortable. We did have an issue with the door not locking properly but it didn't bug us that much. Note that the hotel pool is a kiddie pool, no more than around 3 ft deep and very small. I like to do laps in the morning and this definitely did not cut it. The view from the dock made up for it though, me and my boyfriend spent a good part of the morning and late night there watching the boats and listening to the band from one of the restaurants. Overall good experience.

“Pleasantly surprised”

It was the cheapest hotel I could find on Key Largo and so I didn't expect much. I was really pleasantly surprised! The hotel had personality and added to our key vacation by making me feel like we were at a sea-side resort. The pool was small, but we had it all to ourselves when we went swimming and the band next door was playing live-music while we swam - it was really nice! There wasn't much to the beach, but because I didn't even know it had a beach, I thought it was great! We stayed for one night, mostly just a place to sleep and shower, but I would definitely return!

Nice little place with a great view from the second floor. Big kitchen, nice room with lots of space. Very quiet and comfy, you can dive all day right from the beach and the pool was nice and clean. Really nice staff too. Great little diving spot. I cant wait to return.

The Bayside is exactly what we had hoped for in Key Largo-reasonable price, friendly staff, quiet, clean, access to the water to watch sunsets, good air-conditioning. We are divers so don't spend much time in a hotel--pretty much there to sleep and relax. We get up early and leave to dive, come back just before supper. This hotel had everything we needed. The pool was clean--but we didn't use it. Walking distance to places to eat breakfast (Doc's). Their beach area and dock is a great place to watch the sunset.

“Nice Little Surprise Close to all the Dive Shops on Key Largo”

The only bad thing about this hotel is that it is easy to pass up because the sign doesn't exactly stand out and the actual entrance to the hotel is off of a side street. Once you find the place you will not be disappointed that you chose to stay here. The hotel has been freshly painted and the grounds are well tended with plenty of lush tropical foilage. The rooms are basic hotel fair and very clean. The beds are comfortable. Michael works the desk and is friendly with great suggestions for places to eat and hang out. He says the rooms, which were just re-done 2 years ago, are set to be completely remodeled after this high season. The best surprise was the pool/dock/beach area behind the hotel on the bay. What a great place to watch the sun go down while sipping a drink and listening to the live music from the open air restaurant next door. A plus for divers is that the hotel will be close to your dive operator no matter which one you choose and the night clerk sets out the continental breakfast early enough that you can have something to eat before heading out for the dive boat each morning. We flew in from Texas stayed here for 2 days before heading back to Miami to go on a cruise. This place was cheaper than Miami and every bit as nice as some of the hotels I have used there.

Perfect location fo vist the reataurants and sights of Key Largo. Best buy for the money on room rates int he area. Nice beach area and boart marina. Good service and room were very nice. Highly reccomend staying here.
