"All the staff I met were helpful and welcoming. Parking was convenient. The room was clean and comfortable, with the exception that the building's external lights were directly outside my windows. The black out curtains didn't overlap so the room was pretty bright. Overall, great option with character right in downtown FDL. "

"The hotel was not as nice as I expected based on the reviews. Our bathroom did not have any fan or venting, so after the 4 of us took showers the walls and everything in it were dripping with water and made the room miserable. Then the hot tub water was very dirty looking, like a mucky color and you could see a brown film on the walls of it. the pool was not the cleanest either, but my kids still went in it."

"Arrived at property and was unable to get in. Called the posted number and someone answered but as soon as I said “hello?” they hung up. I immediately called again and it went straight to voicemail. After spending almost 45 minutes on the phone with hotels.com they were unable to get the property managers to answer, either. I ended up having to make a new reservation altogether. "

"Do NOT book this property!!!! Owner never contacted us. Got there and no answer and no way to get in. VRBO would only refund. No extra help because it was “only for one night”. We are left stranded with nowhere to sleep. Had to drive 4 more hours even though we were exhausted. No a great idea."

"Everything was perfect about this property! The communication beforehand with Sarah, the house, the lake, the views, the close proximity to town. EVERYTHING! The house was spotless and had everything we needed. We really enjoyed the kayak’s and the large yard to play football in. The boys played basketball in the driveway and fished from the dock. Even though they didn’t catch anything they still had fun!! Jim and Sarah live next door and were available if we needed anything. But did not...
