The oceanview room was amazing. I love the fact that it was right at the beach, so that we could enjoy it everyday we were there. The staff was very polite and courteous especially the manager Caroline she was so helpful and delightful to answer any and every question or concern we may have had.

Love the location of this hotel! Right on the beach, walkable to lauderdale by the sea and the water taxi. Wish we had an updated room and that they did early check in.

The front desk staff overall were nice except for a few girls who didn’t seem very helpful. Not sure if they truly wanted to help me when I had to questions or I was just a nuisance for them. John the concierge was quite shy and timid, didn’t make eye contact or ever say hello to me. The best service was from both security guards at the hotel. They were top notch!

The lack of dining inside of the hotel was my least favorite. The easy access to the beach from the pool area is my highlight.

Constant construction noise or landscaping waking us up at 7am every morning. Construction was on the building next door and was constant until 6pm. Staff was very accommodating though, they changed our room after the first night and it was much appreciated. They will charge you for everything - $20/night parking, $15/beach chair, $20/umbrella, etc. each day. 2 drinks at the bar was $36. They don’t allow outside food or drink outside either so you have to hide it if you bring it. Location is great but for the price ($200 /night) there’s no amenities unless you pay extra for them. They give you a 2 star hotel experience for a 4 star price.

The property next door has some sort of very large generator or air condition type equipment on the property line that runs non stop and is definitely noice pollution. I’m shocked that the town doesn’t have a noice ordinance. Truly so loud you can’t hear the ocean or even the music playing by the pool.

The staff was nice. However the room we got was not well kept. Faucet had rust all over, room smelled old, drain ran slow; things that if monitored correctly could easily be taken care of.

The property itself was lovely. The woman who checked us in seemed bothered to have to help us. We felt very unwelcome. Concierge didn't seem to want to be there. After we had already been to our room, we decided to walk to dinner. We were practically kept from even re-entering the hotel because we didn't have a tag for a car. (We didn't have a car with us at all.) We walked to a restaurant down the way, and walked back. The Security guard at the pool was very nice, as well as the women who were working the gift shop. The lady who checked us out was friendly. The staff working the on-site restaurant and the pool bar were also kind. It's unfortunate that we felt so unwelcome at the start.

We visited during obvious construction in the area, that is why the area rating is what it is for me. I’m sure it’ll be lovely when finished. Nice upgrades have been made but it is a dated building. We’d stay there again - the staff was amazing and the important stuff was exceptional.

Pool and hot tub were excellent. Room worked out fine but double beds do mean full size not queen. So something to keep in mind if traveling with your kids. Gym was actually very nice. Easy access to a grocery store and mini fridge in the room made breakfast easy.

Restaurant within is expensive for what you receive! And server had us wair! And we encounter a roach in our room do not leave luggage open! Staff at front desk are not overly friendly! Requested cash preferably for transfer in transportation!

Quieter than the Fort Lauderdale Beach Strip. Lots of restaurants in walking distance and easy for Ubers. Pool deck is lovely as is the beach.
