The "arco" rooms where I stayed are in a 3 floor no elevator building all facing an inner courtyard with a pool. The "deluxe" rooms are in a taller building with elevator.
This was a comfortable, safe and reasonably priced place for an overnight stay. I plan to use this hotel again when passing through Veracruz.

The location near the bus station was terrible, so much pollution. You heard
the other visitors, there was too much echo. I was woken up early every morning
due to the echoes. The rugs were filthy my white socks were dirty after walking
around my room had to change to clean pair to sleep. The staff were not friendly.
The Internet was always down the letters on keyboard were worn out, you had to guess
what letter it was.

RE: Itinerary # 190431418741 - Booking for Hotel Fiesta Veracruz Mexico (Nov 14 - 16, 2014)
I am writing to express my displeasure with Expedia for what was done to me on my recent trip to Veracruz Mexico.
Initially I made a reservation through Expedia for a hotel called Hotel Fiesta Veracruz for 3 days Nov 14 -16 which I paid for using my credit card. When I arrived in Veracruz Nov 14, 2014 the taxi from the airport was not able to locate the hotel Fiesta saying he was not familiar with it, etc. During this time there was heavy security all around (due to the CAC Games taking place in Veracruz) and I assume as a result of the current political climate in the country. Consequently I felt very reluctant to go searching for this hotel with complete strangers.
I found alternate lodging and tried to cancel my booking only to be told that Only Expedia could do that. I tried to cancel from the Expedia websites but without success. Consequently my credit card was debited from Nov 9, 2014 for the 3 days I had booked without me staying there. I would like to be reimbursed my US $418.29.

This hotel is not right in the center but was walking distance to a nice park and to the beach. The only thing I'd like improved would be the little "fitness center" they have upstairs. I really enjoyed staying there though and it was a great deal for the cost

We experienced a problem with the magnetic key and could not use it until the lock was fixed a few hours later. Also had a problem accessing the internet until I was told that the password given was abbreviated, something that should have been pointed out. Actually, it is not very logical to use an abbreviation on a password (the instructions indicated VD Veracruz instead of the actual password Villas Dali Veracruz). Otherwise, everything else was fine and everyone was very helpful.
