You'll have the entire home to yourself and will only share it with other guests in your party.

Home in Ghent located 1 mile off interstate and 2 miles to ski resort.

Quiet home located conveniently off interstate, close to ski resort. Easy to find. If you are looking to see national parks, fish, golf and more this is a great place. Close to a local brewery and great restaurants. Close to ATV trails. Love the large yard. Use of garage if needed to put ATV in. Coffee bar, hot chocolate. Some toys for kids. Dog friendly. We are readily available to answer your questions point you in the right direction and give you recommendations. You are 8 miles to glade springs. 15 to little beaver Park, 20 to Grandview. 20 to Beckley. Even though the house is out of the town limits, instacart and door dash are available. Please do note that there are times when you can hear a tractor trailer at the toll booth, but we haven't heard any complaints of waking someone from their sleep.

Perfect Getaway
So close to the mountain, which is exactly what we needed for our family snowboard trip. The pictures don’t do the place justice. It was spacious and comfortable. Only downside, closest grocery stores are 20ish minutes away so we survived on Dollar General and it worked out perfectly! Highly recommend you stay and experience all that Winterplace has to offer.

Perfect location for skiing and hiking! Amazing House Overall
We stayed at Amy’s place for a long weekend of skiing at Winterplace Resort (3 minute drive), and hiking in New River Gorge National park (40 minute drive). The location of the property was near many restaurants, gas stations, and convenient stores. The house was amazing and we had no complaints. Amy even left our pup a welcome basket along with a welcome basket for my boyfriend and I! She responded to any of our needs within 5 minutes every-time! Only thing to note is that there is a highway about 1/4 of mile behind the house and you can hear traffic, but it did not bother any of us and we were able to sleep soundly and have a great vacation. We definitely recommend and we as well will be returning soon!

Perfect Getaway
My brother-in-law and I brought our sons on a ski trip to Winterplace, and we stayed at Amy's place, and what a great stay we had. The house is wonderful and even more spacious than we had anticipated. Everything was very clean and there were even some snacks and water bottles waiting for us, making us feel immediately at home. The location was perfect, as it is just minutes from the ski slopes. Amy was super friendly and always very quick to respond to any questions or requests. The games and puzzle were big hits for us as we enjoyed time in the living room around the fireplace each night. This was a very memorable trip, and if we ever make our way back up to Ghent, we would definitely stay here again.
