We had no concerns at all -- everything about the property was exactly as described. The remoteness is part of the appeal -- though it does mean that it's not easy to pop out to a shop for something you might have missed/forgotten. With good planning, it's a really appealing place."

While I loved the lake, trips to Puy de Dome and Massif de Sancy were also within an hour's drive. All in all a lovely introduction to the Auvergne."

"Patricia was wonderful and helpful. The place is super clean and located in a quiet area perfect if you re looking to disconnect from a busy life. The only way to get there is through narrow winding roads. So make sure you have all your errands done before you head back there other wise grocery stores and are pretty far."

Nous avons été "chez nous" pendant 5 jours et avons profité, pleinement, de la belle demeure et de cette belle région !! "I had not properly read that there would be no towels. We have not experienced this before. We had arrived by air so carrying those is not practical. Thankfully we were close to friends who helped us or we could not have had a shower after our long journey as there were no shops near. I wish they would be provided for other travellers like ourselves. We were told it was because of Covid but bed linen was provided and we could not understand the difference! Everything else was perfect."
