"Listen, you often get what you pay for. This resort could use a little modernization. I can’t complain about the space and good nights rest though. My family of five comfortably fit in the unit. The pool and golf course did its job. Might want to update the HVAC as it had a hard time keeping the place cool on a hot day."

"We loved that the house had everything we needed. Even an ironing board! Three bathrooms were helpful with everyone getting ready at the same time! A nice walking/nature trail is 800 feet away!!"

Doors don’t close, not enough pots and pans, dirty curtains, loose legs on the kitchen table, fire place didn’t work, broken light bulbs, the outside wasn’t bad except that the road desperately needs to be replaced. The potholes are huge!! Staff was nice but the sign said to check in on the other side and the door was padlocked shut. It wasn’t easy to know what that meant. They should have said a more direct location. I had to call...

"Perfect for WVU events. Location is perfect. Property was nice. I only gave 4 stars for cleanliness cuz ceiling fans were fuzzy but other than that place was clean. I wanted to reserve for next year graduation but was already reserved. :( I would highly recommend."

"We were there for our granddaughter’s wedding at Adaland Mansion. This was a convenient location for traveling to and from the event. The house was beautifully decorated and very roomy for a large family. Everything was clean and comfortable. The rain kept us from enjoying the outdoors but there was lots of room for outdoor sitting and grilling. Sherry is an exceptionally good host. I would recommend the riverfront home to anyone traveling to that area."
