Dear MM We have recently taken over management and take great pride in making sure that every guest has an amazing experience at our Cosy Corner Seaview Apartments. As was noted, we are always quick and responsive in meeting our guests requests where things are not quite right, unfortunately it is not a perfect world. Responding to our guests requests can be very challenging, especially over this extremely busy holiday period. We were, and still are very apologetic that the room wasn't immaculate. As a result of your review, we have now purchased a stronger vacuum (to our cleaners delight), to ensure that nothing is missed and the carpets are pristine. We are ensuring that our staff check ALL appliances and glass/cookware. We have been working on improving our internet service, which has been historically difficult given the remote location. We are negotiating with NBN to get a direct service which we know will be an immense improvement however this has not yet been installed. Prior to Christmas we purchased pre-paid 4G WiFi modems as back up and at quite a considerable cost, as we know that our guests appreciate it. Unfortunately on this occasion our backup modem for this apartment failed. We did our very best to get a technician out from Albany, however due to it being over the Christmas break, they were very light on staff and were unable to attend, as promised, before you departure. To avoid further unhappy guests, we subsequently closed this room until we are able to rectify the situation. As a whole, the 4G WiFi has been a major improvement from the situation before we took over management. We understand your disappointed first impression, but hope that one day you will come and stay again so we are given the chance to change your first impression.
