ADORABLE ROOM/CONDO. JET SKI AND OTHER ACTIVITIES ON SITE. THEY WERE DOING CONSTRUCTION ON THE HOTEL NEXT TO US, A LITTLE LOUD. BE PREPARED FOR A LONG WALK TO THE BEACH FROM YOUR ROOM.

Our condo that we reserved was not going to be ready in time. However, the property owners offered us a choice of multiple condos they still had open in the area. The were very accomodating and helpful with the key sites we were looking for and things we were comfortable about such as free parking, location, etc.

The condo was spacious, well-appointed, and beautifully located to both view and visit the beach. The bed was so comfortable, and the kitchen was great, except that something must have been trapped in the food disposal under the sink. The odor of rotting food became unbearable by the time we checked out. How maintenance or housekeeping missed that is beyond me! That was kept me from a glowing review and recommendation. Until that is addressed, I will not return, and suggest anyone contemplating a stay make sure they are guaranteed the problem has been resolved.

Great Stay, Very Comfortable
We booked this property because of the close proximity to a Beach Home where a family wedding was located. We didn't realize it was a 15 mile trip out to nowhere. There are no restaurants, shops anywhere close. It does not seem like part of the Gulf Shore Beaches area. But we were close to the Beach House for the wedding. It was a very comfortable condo. The 1 bedroom had a pillow topper mattress on it so it was very comfortable. The owners had provided a dvd library, beach toys, etc. Even golf clubs were there. Very thoughtful. It looked clean at first glance but I saw a long black hair when we first arrived, on the toilet, that unfortunately gave me an unclean feeling. Overall it was very nice place, with everything we needed. Pool View and Beaches looked nice, but we didn't use them.

The Vacasa management company did a terrible job. Tried getting a hold of them on several occasions and could never reach anyone. I should have trusted the reviews that I read. The property itself was fair. The handle broke off on the patio door within five minutes of being there. The TVs in the guest rooms were not functioning properly as the remotes were not programmed. The air conditioner stopped working in the evening. Instead it was blowing out hot air. At that point I already tried calling the management company three times with no luck. I had to reset the breaker on the air conditioner and pray that it would finally come back on, it eventually did. One of the bed protectors was quite dirty with urine stains and the spare pillows were also quite dirty. I did not want to touch the coffee maker as it was not clean on the inside. Many of the pools were closed, this was one of the questions I had for the management company prior to booking, which I could never get an answer on. This alone would’ve changed my decision to rent this place. Widespread construction going on at the entire community so lots of noise during the day. At least a 15 minute drive to any food. So this was not a good selling point. I will not be staying here in the future.
