I was a student here years ago so staying here was a bit nostalgic. What people need to realize is that yes, this is a dorm throughout the school year so it’s only going to have the basic necessities, but it’s a comfortable, cost friendly roof over your head. Beds were comfy. If you’re 6 ft tall, you’ll have to duck a bit in the shower. (Not a complaint, just an FYI) Checkin and checkout were easy and the staff were friendly.

It was outdated, but it is a residence! 2 separate bedrooms, modern bath, quiet, small kitchen. The price was great for what I got! Thanks

Great accommodation - price is right. Two bedrooms, Kitchen area with fridge and microwave and 3 pc. bathroom ( no tub ) My 2nd time staying there and very pleased. Remember it's a student residence - don't expect 5 star - but I was happy with my experience.

Good value for money you spent. My only concern was the bathroom, there was no cold water, almost impossible to take a shower way too hot. Staff was friendly, honestly i was not expecting a lot but in the end it was an ok stay.

I liked that the property was close to all amenities, parks, scenic lookouts, and the Hamilton airport. My two young grandsons enjoyed having their own room within the suite.

Parking lot for guests is far from front door. Shower water is barely warm. Shower curtain small and water leaks through. Towels are cheap and rough. Room lighting is very poor. Noisy halls. Thin noisy ceilings. No coffee/tea machines are available. No food on site, machines or otherwise. Smokers were right outside front door. Elevators are stifling hot. Poor security. Main door doesn’t lock downstairs leading onto floors. Rooms overall feel either cold or stuffy with ac on or off. Price better than most, but you feel like your in a detention center with concrete block walls and just bland. The area is very bad around the Residence. Hamilton has gotten much worse over the years. Traffic is very bad and not safe getting to the room. We had to leave early due to a family emergency. Didn’t regret leaving. My advice. Pay an extra 50 dollars,stay somewhere nicer. Not in a dorm.

Nice place to crash one night, fair price, super clean; easy check in/out. Two observations there; for the ones who are not really familiar should be nice to know clearly that it is a student’s residence and the AC was too high we froze the whole night even when the control was in off

Good value for the money. It is actually a residence hall at a local college that rents rooms/suites during the summer. We got a suite with two bedrooms, a kitchen and dining area (no stove, but a 7cu ft fridge and microwave), and a nice bathroom for far less money than a comparable hotel. Our check in and conversations with Vera O'Brien were friendly and extremely helpful and made our stay there a bright spot in our trip. If we ever travel to Hamilton again, we hope to stay here.

Nice place with free parking
Nice place to stay during a road trip. Everything was nice and clean. There are big desks in the bedrooms, so that is convenient if you need to work. There is also a free parking onsite.

Nice clean rooms, helpful people! The one complain we have is the upper blankets (only) of the beds had little biting bugs. And the toiletflush did not work properly.
