Residence accommodationPosted Aug 22, 2014
Pros: The price was really reasonable for the type of accommodation.
Cons: Perhaps if key access could be used at the exit doors to allow for more convenient entry and exit.
Location: The residence was just a block and a half from shopping and restaurants and about 10 minutes from McMaster University.
Very basic accommodation but comfortable. Was just perfect for the price. The rooms were clean and the beds were quite comfortable. Each bedroom had it's own TV and internet hook up. Convenient small kitchenette with full fridge and microwave enabled us to prepare small meals however we did have to supply all our own dishes, cups and utensils.

College DormPosted Aug 19, 2014
Pros: Two bedrooms and very quiet.
Cons: Perhaps an ice machine.
The price was right for a vacated college dormitory. There were two bedrooms with separate kitchen area and three-piece washroom. There weren't too many amenities (it's a college dorm). But there was the complimentary breakfast and the bedrooms each had a TV. We could rest in comfort, quiet and privacy.

Decent Hotel Centrally Located Reasonably PricedPosted Aug 17, 2014
Nice and clean, friendly staff, close to everything on the mountain and close to access routes to the downtown core, about 5 minutes away. Breakfast was included, great price, I have stayed here before, and I would stay here again.

Reasonable Rates - Good accommodationPosted Aug 10, 2014
Pros: Close to Juravinski Cancer Centre.
Cons: Clean rooms during two night night stay.
Two night stay - room was not cleaned between nights - requested room to be cleaned after return at 3 PM from chemotherapy appointment - room was not cleaned, but fresh towels were provided at 5 PM.

Conference Centre in schoolPosted Aug 1, 2014
Cons: Different venue!
Location: Some fairly good restaurants nearby recommended to us by the staff. Enjoyed the Royal Botanical Gardens and a summer concert there in the evening.
Rather annoyed to find our hotel was in a school along with a few students knocking about doing summer courses. Also the room was rather soulless. However, a plus point was that the room was clean.
