Very pleasant place in the country among huge pine
Great place to relax with a lovely breakfast in the morning. We saw two deer on the lawn in the morning while having breakfast. The people running the place were kind and helpful. I hope to come back and bring friends.

We had a wonderful stay at the hotel. The owner was amazing and very friendly. The breakfast was great. The atmosphere was cozy and very fitting for Muskoka. The rooms were clean and well equipted. Overall, we would definately book another stay there.

Get away from it all
The Inn is very cute, owner is first rate. Nice light breakfast in morning with fresh fruit and homemade scones. Quite area away from everything but perfect for a relaxing time in the muskokas

Nugget in the Huntsville Area
We stayed four nights and were very impressed with the restoration of the hotel. The owners were exceptionally friendly and helpful and accommodated all of my requests. The only thing I really missed was having a chest of drawers in my room. A small fridge would definitely have been an asset, too. If I am ever back in the area, there is no doubt I would stay here again.

Relax!
Loved our stay. Everything was top notch. I would have liked if there was an air conditioner as advertized (not just a fan). Lovely bathrooms and great hospitality.

Pleasant surprise.
First time here, pleasant stay. Comfortable bed, clean and fresh, nice bathroom. A couple of issue were for us, when we arrived we would have like to have had a drink at the bar, but there was a wedding rehearsal party, and the bar was not open for the public. Also our Patio door didn't lock, not a big issue because it looked like a pretty safe neighborhood. The Manager did manage to get us a couple of cans of beer for cash.

Nice relaxing place!
Me and my boyfriend stayed 2 nights at this inn. The setting of the inn is very cozy and 1 block from Mary Lake. The atmosphere is very relaxed and Paul and his wife, the owners, make it even more pleasant with their attentive service. The king bed was very comfortable and the room was very clean. They have a dining room but we did not use it-maybe next time. For breakfast, they have complementary coffee, tea with some scones and a very thin cake. I feel that they could also serve a more complete breakfast as there is none in the area. Maybe a cheese plate with some bread, crackers and even warm croissants would do. Just a suggestion :). There is plenty of free parking and even a firepit at the front of the inn. We will be back!

A lovely historic muskoka inn
What a gem of a place this is. The area is absolutely beautiful. Firstly, the owners are very accommodating. The rooms are very nice, clean and comfortable. They have a wonderful restaurant attached to the inn that serve delicious meals and a decent bar menu. Every morning the coffee was awesome. This is important. You can be in the nicest place in the world but in the morning if the coffee sucks..it doesn't matter! This coffee is good! Nice scones aswell. Its not a full on breakfast but welcome each morning. At night there was a fire pit...a nice touch. It was sad to leave this place as it is a wonderful place to relax and unwind. Hopefully we will be back soon.

Muskoka Area Lodge - Pine Lodge Inn
The lodge itself was old, but upgraded and well maintained and had some history to it. The accommodations were excellent with upgraded rooms and bath (I think however we we're in an upgraded suite (#7) because of a 2 day stay over). The food services we're to the point of being terrible both in preparation, presentation, taste and quantity. The Inn itself had no entertainment facilities available. The surrounding area (the town of Port Sydney on Mary's Lake) had access to a beach, boat launch and a docking facility. The town itself had very little to offer other then a general store, a consignment shop and an Ice Cream Parlor. There was however a river feature in the area with a small falls for kids to swim in and generally have a good time drifting the small rapids in a floating device of some sort. Otherwise if staying in the area, you pretty much had to leave the area for any services or fine dinning and shopping. The nearest towns would be Huntsville or Bracebridge (10-20 miles). Both had good shopping and dinning.

Terrible Customer Service and Hotel Experience
Worst hotel experience ever! No one was at the front desk to check us in. Waited over an hour. Hotels.com wouldn't help. On hold for 39 min and then called back on another line. Spoke with someone in two min. Then Hotels.com disconnected the line. They kept trying to transfer me and wouldn't refund my money or find me another hotel. It is now almost 3am and we found our own accommodations. Awful Awful Awful.

Nice simple place for a stop over
We enjoyed our stay at The Pine Lodge Inn. Hotel staff was friendly and accommodating . The lounge and restaurant area was lovely and contemporary. We felt the rooms could have used a bit more attention. There was very little lighting so at night you felt it was very dark. Only one of us could read in bed with only one lamp on a nightstand. The other side was dark . One mirror only in the bathroom and very bare walls. It felt very institutional. Saying that the bed was very comfortable. Outside they have a great area with a fire pit and chairs. Unfortunately this was not lit on any of the nights we were there. It would have been nice to sit outside and enjoy this. This is a great place if you want something simple.

Nice stay in a quiet area in Muskoka
The hotel was great overall. If the weather was better, it would have been a better stay for sure, because we couldn't go out after we checked in due to the bad weather. The hotel staff were friendly and had complimentary light snack and tea in the morning.

Pine Lodge Inn - a Muskoka Treasure!
My husband and I just had an amazing long weekend at the Pine Lodge Inn. From the minute we walked in the door to this beautifully renovated 1927 Inn we felt welcome and relaxed. Our room was clean, roomy and very romantic with its cozy fireplace and extra comfy king size bed! The bathroom was modern and outstanding too! We had fun at the local beach, (just a short walk from the Inn), fishing at the dam and exploring the unique local shops! Our hosts Paul and Connie went out of their way to make our stay perfect! In the morning there was tea and coffee set out with a selection of baked goods or fruit. The dinners Paul (who is also a fabulous chef) made were --- and filling – and the service impeccable (Thanks Mac!)!! Their bar had local beers to try (my husband loved this!) and an excellent selection of wines, aperitifs and after dinner drinks. We also enjoyed meeting both locals and other guests at the bar and around their outside fire pit! We can’t wait for our next adventure back to this Port Sydney treasure!
