"Casa Chihuahua a was quiet, comfortable and nicely decorated and appointed base for exploring the surrounding Columbia Gorge and plateau, enjoying the abundant native flowers (Camas!) in their spring finery. We alternated cooking for ourselves with eating at the nearby Backwoods Brewery and picnicking at scenic viewpoints with our dog, Hazel. We went across the Columbia to Mosier for it's expanse of sunny yellow Arrowleaf Balsamroot and Lupine, and had wonderful ramen at Mugen in Hood River....

"The photos do not do this townhome view justice. The Hood River area is just two blocks away and lots of restaurants and esp coffee shops -eat at Dolstice Pizza at waterfront. The decor in unit is welcoming and sufficient for all of us. Furniture is a bit worn. Would be great to have a bigger bed in master and more pillows available. "Casa Flores was as listed. Nice neighborhood, clean, lots of towels which I like. Our dog enjoyed the nice little fenced in yard, so did we. We also enjoyed walking the Indian creek trail which is close by, with our dog. Always good to be able to park off street. So close to downtown without the traffic of being downtown. Would definitely stay again as such easy access to all of Hood River activities."

If you have an elderly person with you be cautious with about 8 steps that go down to walkway and then 4-5 back into the house."

"Amazing stay close to hikes and wildflowers! Loved that we could hike the Mosier Plateau trail and walk to Mo Co for beers. Short drive to Hood River. Beautiful views for relaxing! Highway traffic is loud but with windows closed not noticeable. Perhaps bring ear plugs if you are a light sleeper. My biggest note would be the WiFi is not good - I planned to work from home and was not able to."
