"Went for a quick family trip at the end of basketball season to try and squeeze in a ski/board trip. Elk River made check in super easy and even made it possible for us to check in early. The cabin had everything we needed for our trip and Ellie Mays restaurant was awesome. For those that like sweet tea, there’s was on another level. The grounds itself had a lot to offer and my daughter and I did some exploring 2 of the days we were there."

Very simple - keep your bed unmade and put your towels on the floor and close the windows. The owner was responsive and kind. Nice cottage feel to the place. We would stay time and time again."

The only inconvenience was the host would show up without any notice.
