Many of Gifu’s most interesting sights are located close to Inuyama, so it is a great place to base yourself while you are in town. Two of the places not to miss are the fascinating Inuyama Castle and the remarkable Hayashi Family Residence. And don’t miss Zuirinji Temple and the Kawai Archaeological Museum.
There are many picturesque outdoor attractions here as well so don’t miss the chance to get outdoors. There are some pleasant urban parks, so take a picnic blanket to the Hana Festa Memorial Park in Kani and the Heisei Memorial Park in Minokamo.
Spend an evening with fellow baseball lovers at Nagoya Dome, Nagoya, cheering on the Chunichi Dragons. On game days the stadium overflows with blue and white, as local baseball lovers flock together to support their home-grown heroes.
Finding somewhere handy to base yourself in Inuyama couldn’t be easier. For a good night’s sleep check out the amenities at the Geihanro, the Route-Inn Grantia Komaki, and the Hotel Route-Inn Kani.
