Beautiful Ocean views, but the kitchen was invested with bugs - some of them cockroaches. Sooooooo gross - I have stayed at the Kona Nalu many times (different units) and never had a bug problem. They did spray while we were there, but we still had bugs in the kitchen drawers.

Great view
The apartment was outstanding. The view was fantastic. The manager, Paul, was very helpful. I'd suggest that you check all unlocked drawers in living room, kitchen and bathroom. There are a lot of helpful items. Tenants in building are outstanding and helpful.

The Best Stay in the Big Island!
Wow. Where do we start? The location was central to the Ironman event where my husband was a participant. We stayed from Oct 1-15 with our kids in this condo with an expansive lanai overlooking the ocean. We loved hearing the sounds of the waves 24/7. The house was impeccably clean from the kitchen to the bathrooms. The kitchen was fully stocked with essentials including seasonings. The towels, rugs and any bedding was more than sufficient for our family. Let me just say how wonderful Paul, the manager was to our family! We had an issue with the router malfunctioning. Our kids were doing homework and I was checking work emails remotely so we needed the wifi to work ASAP. Paul was on our doorstep the next day and went to Spectrum to get a router replacement. Within hours, we had wifi again! He was so easy to work with (lucky owners!). Our kids spent everyday on Magic Sands Beach which was about 1.2 miles from the property. We loved running on Alii, it was very accessible especially during the race. Overall, this is one of the best stays we've ever had. No complaints! We will be searching them again on our next visit!

A great stay again at Kona Nalu
We love the complex, views, location and have stayed in different units through the years. This was the first time in 301 and it did not disappoint. Paul has been a great property manager for all our stays and we will come back again. Mahalo!
