Search and Rent Kailua-Kona Condos

"It is a good hotel but don't expect anything special, even for the high price. There is coffee in the room, but only paper cups. The ocean view isn't actually ocean view, it is only partial because your actual view are the other balconies across from you. You have to lean out and to the side to see the water. The beach is nice but has no chairs or umbrellas. You could only rent a cabana for additional $$. Room was clean but the daily cleaning was not that thourough. Closet space was small. Pool area is nice but they do come around and aggressively place drink menues on your little table. I just came to relax and have water though 😃 The weirdest thing is though that they send out these emails before your trip saying "We're so excited for your stay.. let us know what we can do.. bla bla" When I actually responded that it's my husbands 50th Birthday and asked if they do anything for birthdays, there wasn't even a reply. I didn't expect much but not even a "Happy Birthday" reply is lame 😅 I really liked the ice machine and water dispenser though. It was great to get as much fresh drinking water as I wanted every day. The location is great, too. It's walking distance to everything in town and the Kona Pier is right there aswell. The attached ABC store is super convenient 👌 All in all it is a good hotel but don't expect "fancy" or "special" even though it's expensive. "

"The staff were excellent and very nice. The property is very convenient location wise, but also small. The pool was decent, but the storm didn’t allow for much swimming. Morning poolside yoga was a nice activity and basic amenities were available. They brought a microphone my room which was very accommodating and local food is delicious speaking to the convenience of the area. "

"Our stay was not at all as described. We thought we were getting an ocean view with laundry. Instead we had to cross a road for both a view and laundry. Will not return or recommend."
