"Caution when booking. Place is filthy. The owner comes round and warns you of all the things that are broken and how poorly put together everything is. Even that if we used a plug in heater and water heater at same time the place could blow up. This was after an hour and a half of driving up the worst dirt track. "Eilidh is a lovely host. So nice to see a local young lady caring so much about her village. The accommodation is a fantastic use of space and ideal for our week’s stay. Very warm and comfortable. I recommend this wholeheartedly. We were a couple with a dog. She (the dog) was instantly as ease. Nice enclosed front garden ensured she didn’t wander. Excellent location for a walk down to Brora’s stunning beach."

"I loved the remoteness of this wee cottage. If you’re looking for somewhere quiet, with lots of lovely walks, then this is ideal. The cottage is powered by a generator, which you can hear but soon get used to. Make sure you bring everything you need, it’s a fair trek to the nearest shop! My dog ran around the forest all day long and slept all night and I chilled out with a glass or two of wine. I hope to visit again in the not too distant future."

"Beautiful area, so peaceful and quiet. We saw a herd of deer pass by, red kites, owls and a sea eagle. As a pet owner I’m always worried about space for my dog, absolutely no worries here, as long as you keep your dog under control they have room to relax too ! "Lovely place could move into it and be super happy, only downside was although it states dog friendly it's not secure as the fencing around which leads straight onto the sheep fields is easy to get into, also near the hottun they can jump into the road and also under the gate, if this could fixed I would definitely come back again with them, apart from making it more secure and safe for the dog and sheep around it was a lovely place to stay"
