"Excellent Location for traveling on Eurostar"
Location is across street from St. Pancras International Station. If you are traveling by Eurostar, this is where you want to stay! Hotel lobby is very cozy (tiny), but is authentic London charming! Friendly & helpful staff. The bed is comfortable & clean. The room has a hair dryer, stocked mini fridge with reasonable prices on water & juice, & complete coffee/tea bar. Drop your luggage & head off to a nearby pub. This experience is for those who need a place to sleep while traveling. I will definitely recommend Kings Cross Inn to family & friends traveling in London near St. Pancras Safe area, convenient location, & clean and friendly hotel.

"Brilliant location, impressed with cleanliness"
We stayed for one night in the 5 bed room with shared facilities. I think we were the only people using them however as we never saw anyone else. Staff were very nice, the room smelled like clean laundry when we walked in and I'm told the breakfast was very nice (stupid diet!). The only thing we could complain about was the blue lighting around the mirror - we couldn't work out how to turn it off! Location of the hotel is amazing. Would definitely go back!

"Large spacious rooms, great location, great value!"
I stayed in London for a conference and booked this hotel based on it's online reviews and advertised room size, and it didn't disappoint! My last experience in London 5 years ago was not great, but this hotel was fantastic! It is well located literally opposite from Kings Cross/St Pancras (you can't miss the colourful mural on the hotel wall when you exit the station), which is on teh same line as the Picadilly (for the tube to Heathrow) and Paddington (for the Heathrow express). It is very close to most major tourist attractions in London either via a walk or a few tube stops. The hotel itself was great. Given the location, I found it very quiet! The room was enormous by London standards! I booked a standard double and not only was there a large double bed, there was a full length window seater couch, study table, wardrobe and in-room safe, fridge and coffee facilities, heaps of space for multiple suitcases, and importantly a large bathroom with a bath! My room views overlooked Kings Cross which was lovely! (Although I hear teh rooms overlooking St Pancras are much nicer!). There is fast free wifi, and I never had a problem connecting which was great given I was on a business trip. The restaurant was also great. There is a lift also! Fabulous value!! My only complaint (minor!) is that the in-room thermostat was broken and I found the room a bit warm on the warmer days, but they provided a fan which was great. The temperature was perfect on the other days!

"Above average hotel close to Euston Station"
Ideal location close to Euston, especially when travelling with 2 nine year old grandchildren. All four of us shared a room which still had space. Very clean and light with lovely en-suite. Very quiet during the later evening and presumably into the night as nothing disturbed us. Full English self-serve breakfast with very friendly staff. Free wi-fi which was easily connected, and remained so. 6/7 minutes from Russell Square tube station. 30 minutes stroll from Covent Garden and theatres. Reasonable price for such a good location. For those without children several pubs within a few minutes walk, most serving lunchtime food. Also several restaurants nearby. Would have no hesitation in using this hotel again and more than happy to recommend it. The only slight negative is that it has no lift and so the stairs could pose some difficulties for some people.

"Great location, great staff, great atmosphere"
This place seems more along the lines of a W Hotel than a hostel. Everything is brand new, clean, and incredibly stylish. It's not so much a party hostel, there are lots of older people and even families. If you've never stayed in a hostel this is a great place to try it out.

"great week at Carlton Kings Cross"
I was promptly checked in by the desk person and given a room in their new annex that was bright and clean with a decent bathroom. The room was made up every day and the staff very helpful anytime I had a question at the front desk. The breakfast and breakfast room were very nice and being able to use WIFI in the room was a plus also. I spent a week total here and would come back again, the close proximity to St Pancras/Kings Cross stations made my touring by tube and train very easy.

Pocket Guide: London Kings Cross - St. Pancras Independent Hotels

With the Eurostar and many metro and train lines at St Pancras and King's Cross stations, most people know the bustling area as a transportation hub. Thanks to a redevelopment, it is now much more. Restaurants, galleries, and a street market have opened near Regent's Canal. St Pancras also has Europe's longest oyster bar, and don't forget the Harry Potter Store at King's Cross Platform 9 3/4.
