Wonderful Home! Loved everything about it!
Our family along with friends enjoyed a 3 night stay for a weekend of skiing. We loved the home and everything about it. Wished we could have stayed longer. It was comfortable and had everything we needed for cooking in and close to good places to eat if we wanted to go out. Great neighborhood. Very cool State Park close by. Beautiful home and countryside. We had a great time during our stay and hope to return soon.

Everything was great!!
We went as our annual family ski trip. 9 of us. This house was accommodating for everyone, and location to everything. Plenty of towels unlike most places we stay that just have enough for one each person, if that. Nice coffee and tea area which we enjoyed. Cozy clean little place to stay!

Beautiful get away.
We stayed Oct. 2023 with the idea of hiking throughout the area as much as possible. We had fantastic weather and hiked daily in the gorgeous hills/mountains. The home was marvelous to come back to and relax. We were always a bit amazed at some new amenity we discovered every day about the house. Absolutely lovely and would do again!

Comfy and Spacious
Lovely and spacious updated farmhouse. Plenty of room for all of the kids plus we loved that there were two living areas. And it was decorated for Christmas with a tree and all! It felt just like home. I loved that it has a huge covered outdoor area with the grill and gas fire pit.

Wedding Stay
We traveled to Princeton for our sons wedding. We found this property and decided to rent it. WHAT A FIND! Plenty of Bedrooms! The PORCH is absolutely awesome. We love spending time outside and this property was perfect. Owners were very responsive and answered any questions that we had very quickly! If you are looking for a little getaway to just relax and enjoy some quiet time, I would highly recommend this listing! Can’t wait to come back to spend a little more time in Pipestem and enjoy the beautiful area!

Wonderful stay! Hope to come back.
We absolutely loved this stay! The house was wonderful. With plenty of sleeping arrangements and space for all of us (grandparents- first floor; couple 1 + 6 year old and couple 2 + infant, 2 and 4 year olds). Our favorite spot was the large side deck and yard! Perfect for lounging and hanging out all together. Communication with the owner was easy and quick. Location to the park was perfect. Mere minutes down the road, with TONS to do.

Lovely property
The accommodations were excellent. Everything one would need was provided. The only reason I gave a 4 to location was there was the noise of the traffic. Could have used some more plates and some smaller glasses. Perhaps some sort of sun type screen would be nice to keep the sun out of your eyes in the evening when it starts to go down and you are sitting on the side patio which we enjoyed and did a lot! Would most definitely rent again.

Family Weekend
This home is absolutely adorable. It’s a beautifully decorated farmhouse and you feel like you are at home the minute you walk through the door. The kitchen is stocked with everything you could possibly need for cooking indoors or outdoors in the grill. The beds were very comfortable and the linens were soft and fluffy. The porch is amazing, we actually spent most of our visit outside on the porch. We are already making plans for a return visit in the late fall/early winter. Tracey is very accessible to answer any questions, wonderful hostess. Love, Love, Love!

The perfect getaway
My husband and I and two friends stayed here while competing in an archery tournament at the Pipestem Resort. The cottage was beautifully kept and updated, and had spacious outdoor areas. Everything was perfect and all we needed to provide was the food! We were able to cook for some of our other friends who were staying in town, and all of them voiced appreciative comments about the house, grounds, and location. We shot all day every day during the tournament, and it was such a relief to come ‘home’ to everything in one place without having to worry about dining out, dealing with noisy neighbors or needing fresh towels. If there was a 10 star option, this host would get it! We LOVED it!

Absolutely Beautiful!
The pictures do not do it justice. Beautiful home, comfortable furnishings, just perfect. We lived the porch! Kitchen was fully stocked for my little family of five to share a homemade meal. I can’t say enough positive things about both Tracey and the home. There was so much to do at Pipestem during the day and then we took advantage of friendly competition with all the games available. Thank you Tracey…so very much! We had a wonderful weekend that we will not forget. We have also already talked about coming back for a longer stay!

Cleanest / Most Cozy / Best Stocked House Ever !!
This is by far the cleanest and most cozy place we have ever stayed! The decor was welcoming with plenty of space to spread out. The rooms were peaceful and the beds were super comfy! Almost anything you would think to have is already there! Much thought has gone into creating this home away from home! We enjoyed everything so much! All amenities were accurately described; you will not be in need of much more than bringing your food to enjoy. And even though it's hard to choose our favorite, I would say we liked the side porch the most with the shade tree, flowers, and hanging lights that produced the perfect place to strike up a card game at night or enjoy our morning coffee. We also enjoyed listening to the birds sing as well as watching the deer meander around the property. The house is located right outside the Pipestem State Park entrance, making it very convenient to drive in to watch the sunset or enjoy a meal at the Bluestone Dining Room located inside the McKeever Lodge. Staying at the Chesnut House at Pipestem is one of the best decisions we have made this summer. Our only regret is we only had time to stay two nights. We hope to return to share the experience with more family.
