Die Unterkunft ist noch schöner als dargestellt, der Ausblick auf das Meer und die Bananenplantagen ist wunderschön, der Pool war im November noch zu genießen und eine Grillmöglichkeit gibt es auch. Ebenfalls ist man einfach unter sich. Was ist gut zu wissen: Auto ist erforderlich und es gibt nur offene Toiletten."

"We enjoyed our stay very much. It's a wonderful place to relax and forget the hassle and bustle of the city. We couldn't believe how quite it is. The cave is very cosy and comfortable and has everything you need. We felt very much at home. Grit, our host was very helpful and easy going. It's a great base for trips and hikes, but you definitely need a car. The steep road down to the property is a bit of an adventure, but you get used to it."

"Buena Vista is gorgeous! The property is situated in gardens overlooking the Atlantic, catching the rising sun for breakfast and the setting sun highlighting the windmill in the west of the in the evening. The style is local and simple, with an imaginative decor . The hosts greeted us like old friends and arranged a birthday cake for my husband and horse riding up in the mountains. "The location close to the new lava flow and the closure of many important roads made getting about very challenging. Most of the local restaurants and shops were closed post covid and the eruption and not knowing this in advance meant we couldn't properly plan for this. "Staying here was a dream! Right on the beach, you can hear the waves at night. Udamay was incredibly kind and helpful. The space was modern, clean, and equipped. We had everything we needed and more in the kitchen to cook. We enjoyed sitting on the balcony every morning and watching the waves with coffee. We could walk to restaurants and the small market, so it was really perfect. The beds where clean and very comfortable. Overall, a perfect place to stay!"

My apartment had everything I needed and the receptionists were very helpful. Two things to consider: There's no air conditioning which wasn't too big an issue in December but may be over the summer. "Excellent value for money in a lovely setting, the half board buffet was good quality. All staff were friendly. I stayed after getting off a cruise and was allowed access to my room at 10am, this was really appreciated. Would definitely return to the hotel. It is beside a beautiful beach and lovely coastal walk."
