Very friendly staff, not too far from the airport - under a tenner to get a taxi there. The room was pretty basic but did the job we needed it to.

All nice and clean and comfortable, for one night was perfect, handy for Luton airport. Breakfast was nice, too. And the local Dominos Pizza in Dunstable will deliver there too. No balcony or sea view.

We only had an overnight stay, and could not fault anything, except the price of the breakfast (which we did not have) at £16.95. The room was very good, spacious and clean, as was the bathroom. The grounds are beautiful, and we had a thoroughly enjoyable experience at the function we we attending, which was the purpose of our stay.

I was struck by the wonderful splendour of the decor, especially the curtains and drapes. They are all exquisite and captivating. The furniture, the carpets, the tapestries are all beautiful and gave the feeling of being in a truly magnificent setting. The only down side in the room, was the two steps from the bedroom down to the bathroom, making it slightly unsafe for my elderly husband to visit the bathroom in the middle of the night. I would suggest a very softly lit night light on each step to warn the occupant. Other than that it means turning on the bedside lamp to see the way, and thereby waking the other bedroom occupant. I particularly liked the fact that there were many roaring fires in the magnificent fireplaces.

This hotel has been slated by other reviews especially the ones that say that the wallpaper is peeling in the corridors, do they sleep in the corridors ??? The rooms are comfy with really nice beds, mine had a new bathroom suite and white fluffy towels, they have tea and coffe making facilities and they let me leave my car whilst i got a fllight from luton airport. They arranged airport transfer for me and gave me a takeaway breakfast for my journey. The breakfast was amazing the first day with choices of six different types of cereals, fresh fruit, croissants and danish pastries and jams, 3 types of juices and tea and coffee, plus whatever you wanted hot from the kitchen. The hotel is accompanied by a large Hungry Horse restaurant which is welcoming and cheap, food is good. As if that wasnt enough they do late night pizzas till midnight. The price for all this....£20 per night at weekends, book direct with the hotel and breakfast is free. Highway Robberyi dont think so !!!!!!

My parents stayed at this b&b when visiting and they enjoyed their stay! The owner was very friendly and catered to there needs. A great little place
