"I had stayed at this property a year before and there are constant improvements being made to the facilities and the area around it. The beds aren't the typical foam mattresses you can find elsewhere, they are nicely firm."

"The best aspect is its fine location on the "Pebble Beach" (amazing crystal-clear ocean swimming) and clean pool, snuggled against a beautiful forest-mountain. We are a large family of 10 ; booked a family room rated "for 10"-- but were informed when arrived that our advertized cost was only good "for 5", so we had to pay DOUBLE that in cash. So BEWARE! The room was fine, great view of ocean and sunset... but WIFI too weak, useless; and water supply in bathroom was turned off at 9pm to 8am."

"The r00m was not clean the cl0th closet was not clean and had not been clean in some time from topto bottom and there was no toilet set on the toilet in the first room and when i tolld them about it they moved me to another room and the toilet set there was was no good also overall i would not remain this hotel to any one i know and the room do not look like the picture they appetize"

"First of all, we had a hard time finding the address as it was not the exact location as shown in the website. "The hotel staff are all confused and unprofessional ! In the web site of the hotel, it says, checkin starts at 8 am (due to early arrivals of boats from the islands), but at 9:30 am we were told that the earliest check in would start at 2 pm! "We had a very pleasant, although short, stay at Pintuyan Dive Resort. We are not divers, but wanted to try to see whale sharks in a more natural and ethical setting. After researching several other resorts, I chose here based on its proximity to where the whale sharks are often found, the ability to go on a whale shark watch any day of the week (was told by some other places it only possible on certain days), and due to the ability to go with just my husband and I if needed (some places required minimum number of people- or allowed for very large groups, which we also wanted to avoid), as well as the good reviews for the resort. They were responsive by email ahead of time to answer all of my questions. We were very happy with the decision to stay here. It was such a beautiful area, and very quiet and peaceful. The room was spacious and had everything we needed. The food was very good, and there was a large menu of items to choose from. The owner, Ralf, was very friendly and welcoming, as was the rest of the staff. We were able to enjoy snorkeling right in front of the resort. And we were fortunate enough to get to swim with a whale shark on the watch we took, which was such an exciting start to our time in the Philippines. Even without, however, we would have enjoyed our stay here. Highly recommend!"
