"Took my son, his friends, and their dads up for a four wheeler trip. The house was great and had plenty of room for all of us. The hot tub was nice too after a long day of riding. I highly recommend this place for anyone just looking to get away or if you like to ride ATVs/ORVs and/or snowmobiles. Trail access is just a couple of minutes from the property and they lead to pretty much anywhere you want to go in Northern Michigan."

"The whole family enjoyed Carrie’s amazing house! We were a big group (10 people) but never felt cramped. The game room was a hit with the younger people in the group, but we all appreciated the 4 full bathrooms since we had everyone getting ready at the same time for our nephew’s wedding. "Selfishly I don't want to give a good review so it is available for us whenever we want it. Two hours after we got there a huge storm came through and knocked the power out. They were very responsive and kept us up to date when the power was going to be back on. We were very appreciative of that."

"We had such a wonderful trip! This is such a beautiful lake house on a gorgeous lake. We were able to kayak around the lake and golf in the area. The house is so beautiful, comfortable and peaceful with gorgeous lake views. Love that it was dog friendly and well supplied. Would absolutely stay here again!"

"Had a great time on Spider Lake at this large and very clean property. The hill down to the lake (or rather up hill to the house) was a bit challenging for some but was worth the climb every time! The host provided wood for fires on his patio firepit and down by the beach. He also provided ideas for things to do around the area and he was spot on! The local restaurant he recommended was great and the pontoon rentals and river tubing rentals were very accommodating. The house offers many things...

"Property was in a great location to downtown Boyne City and was very clean! Perfect amount of space for our group of 3. Had one minor issue with plumbing but the hosts actively worked to resolve the issue! Would stay at one of their properties again."

"This was a great place for my husband and me. It was super quiet, being the off season, and the little patio off the bedroom was nice for watching birds and listening to frogs in the pond. The kitchenette was just right for our needs. We like to go into Bellaire to grab coffee and a breakfast sandwich at Ruthann’s or get a meal at Short’s or The Corner Bistro. "The cottage worked out great for spring turkey hunting camp with lots of public hunting land nearby. It has a cozy atmosphere and the view of the lake is terrific."
