"This property was perfect for our family reunion, in conjunction with a wedding in Middleburg. The house was interestingly rambling, and had perfect spaces for everyone who came. The grounds, garden, and swimming pool were cherries on top! It was the perfect setting for a large gathering, with plenty of spaces for different activities and conversations. Such a unique property!"

"The property is as described on the website. The outside and inside are both well maintained. The decor is very nice and the furniture including the beds are comfortable. We had a group of family staying for our son’s wedding. The downstairs has its own bedroom, bathroom and living room. Great to have the separation at times. We wish we could have had time to enjoy the deck and fire pit. We would definitely stay again."

"We were a group of 10 people with 2 infants and absolutely enjoyed our stay. The location is amazing, nestled in the woods with deers and birds visiting the property. The house had everything we needed from linens to towels to utensils and toiletries. The listing says 4 bedrooms, but the bunk bed area in the basement can also be considered an additonal room. Would definitely recommend this place when visiting Virginia/Shenandoah NP."

"We enjoyed the location of this quiet highland home away. It was close enough to amenities and sites, but far enough to feel like we were staying in the country. We were able to do day trips to Harpers Ferry, Winchester, Leesburg, Middleburg, but also just enjoyed this surroundings at the property. There were plenty of bed options and the kitchen was well-maintained and equipped. We will return."

"The location was minutes from Skyline Drive and we were close to tons of hiking. Front and back yard were both fenced and great for my niece and my dogs. House was super clean and had everything we needed. Only suggestion is a bigger couch or more seating in the living room. It was a little tight trying to relax at night in front of the TV."

"The accommodations were kept very clean and about a 1-2 min walk to The Inn at Little Washington. The town is very small so there are few places to stay outside of the Inn which can be very expensive. This place was a great alternative. Additionally, Oxana was an excellent host who met us as we arrived and gave us loads of information about the town. She was also exceptional with communication leading up to our arrival."

"We were traveling to the area for an AKC event, and stayed for three nights prior to Thanksgiving. Matt's house was the perfect home base location! Loved the moutain setting while still being convenient to the places we need to travel to. House was beautiful and clean, and we loved watching the deer roam the property. Second time staying at one of Matt's properties, and neither disappointed!"

"My wife and I were looking for a quick weekend getaway and found this beautiful historic house and it was perfect! The home is charming, cozy and warm. It was super clean (and smelled amazing) with all the modern amenities you would want. The kitchen was fully stocked with everything you need to whip up a meal and the beds were super comfy when you ate too much of it. The backyard is completely fenced in, which was great with our little pups, and beautiful at night with the bistro lights hung...
