Historic and Updated Farmhouse Built in 1808

Historic vacation home in Blue Ridge
Property Overview: This 200+ year-old home was built in 1808 as part of Oatlands Plantation. The main, tan colored house is where you would stay and is a gorgeous, fully updated federal home, lovingly restored with amazing attention to detail. The kitchen has marble counters, stainless steel appliances, gas range, and a deep farmhouse sink. Original hardwood floors throughout are in fantastic condition, built-in bookshelves, and more! The main level bedroom has a full bath with custom tile work and a washer/dryer. The upstairs loft can be used as a second, private bedroom, with two queen sized beds. This property covers 3.5 acres of land. There is also a 2nd dwelling (currently being restored) that was the blacksmith's of Oatlands home behind the main house. This property is in a fantastic location with easy access to Rt. 15, Rt. 7, and 267. This peaceful, natural oasis is in a prime location to visit downtown Leesburg, Middleburg, Aldie, and more! Over 19 wineries nearby, Oatlands Plantation events, Middleburg events, Lansdowne Resort, and minutes from Northern Virginia and Washington DC. This is a very functional property for family or friend reunions, with plenty of space for kids to run around!

Great property
What a great place to spend some time away. The house is incredibly clean and so well maintained. Kitchen is fully stocked in terms of plates, glassware, pots/pans, etc. Location is perfect for breweries and wineries or to be in downtown Leesburg. And maybe best of all are the owners, they are great!!

5/5 Excellent

Perfect !
Location was so charming for our wedding weekend! The property is adorable, clean and well-maintained. The owners were very easy to work with and quick to fix any booking issues. Perfect for a note remote stay! (Note: we wanted to order pizza late at night and a lot of Uber eats type delivery services do not deliver out that way! Make sure you bring your own food or order take out earlier in the evening to avoid issues).

5/5 Excellent

Just Perfect
My wife and I have stayed at a lot of properties, and have rented out a property of our own on a similar website. So we have a ton of experience with what makes a great home stay. This home is lovely, charming, and exactly as pictured. I raved about it all weekend, and we wished we could stay longer. It is extremely clean, without the dustiness you see in many properties. The linens, beds, blankets etc are all the kind you would want AT HOME, not the cheap furnishings you might expect at a place with high turnover. The kitchen is well stocked with all the things you will need, and I was so impressed that they have lots of little touches that a visitor would want but likely to forget. The area is gorgeous, and close to a ton of wineries and beautiful open spaces. We will be returning, as our friends were unable to join us at the last minute. I would recommend staying here even if you had no reason at all to come to the area-- just sit on the cozy couch, enjoy some rest, make a good meal, and play some games! Thank you Jeremy and Allison.

Nice getaway from the city

So Cozy
What a well designed space! The house was charmingly historic and elegant, yet comfortable. Living spaces were cozy, sleeping spaces spacious, and the yard was *magic* for a family that's been cooped up in the city all year.
