I loved the area! Very quiet and safe. The facility was always clean and the room was impeccable everyday. The only issue I would say was the front desk was not very amiable and friendly. Other than that it was a very nice stay

El staff fue muy atento, nos ofrecieron utilizar las instalaciones en lo que alistaban nuestra habitación, asimismo, resguardar el equipaje por si necesitábamos salir; la persona que nos atendió con la limpieza, súper amable, le pedimos cambiara las sábanas y lo hizo sin dudarlo, todo el personal muy amable. Lo único no tan bueno fue que cuando entramos a la habitación aún estaba un poco sucia, las habitaciones necesitan una renovación. En general, todo súper bien, volvería a hospedarme ahí.

Completely misleading. I am so disappointed. First room we received was nothing like we expected. Ocean view was really a tree. Balcony was divided into two with a weird wall in the middle of the room. The toilets were dirty. The remotes to the tv and air conditioner didn’t work. Our bed had a crack straight down the middle. I spoke to the girls in the front and they seem bothered that we didn’t like our room. Second room they gave us, had a better view but the sink was clogged. They fixed it then the shower became clogged. For ice you have to ask at the front desk and wait til someone shows up and gets it and by then it’s kinda melted. The beds in the second room also cracked, coffee maker was never cleaned. They would come clean but didn’t actually clean but wanted a tip straight away. There were some weird streaks on the wall. I rated it a two because one of the employees was super nice. We go to Mazatlan quite frequently, at least 3 times a year. In all the years we have gone this was THE WORST hotel experience. We were suppose to receive some perks and never did.

This was a last minute booking when my other accommodations fell through, it was reasonably priced, clean and staff was very friendly and helpful. The room was clean but very small with very limited place to unpack to. The hotel seemed to be in the middle of some upgrades. The booking included breakfast, but it wasn't very good, most dishes were cold and only about 3 to choose from, we are not big breakfast eaters so a pastry and yogurt suited us fine. The hotel was not very busy so we did not have to be up at the crack of dawn so we could have a chaise by the pool. We felt we got a descent room for what we paid for it and Expedia threw in a free drink by the pool.

Not so good: -if you get a room with a view, and it’s a hot day.. prepare to be sweaty the fan in the room takes an hour or two to cool down -cheap shower curtains - no towels in the room, called and asked for them, never brought them up. I found the person cleaning the rooms and she did not have hand towels or the mat for the shower -buffet, poor taste - it’s going through construction so the second pool isn’t open - room looks much nicer online than in person -found a small cockroach in my room by the coffee station Good: - access to the beach -good location, walking distance to other stops and restaurants -view

Staff very friendly beds were very hard. Hot breakfast each morning just need to sign up day before. One pool which second pool being worked on. Outside bar different 😊. Location was good in Golden Zone. Watch out for salesman selling vacation packages scams. Once I landed at airport I had 3 different sales teams harassed me to sit in on presentation

I asked the front staff for additional towels due to not being provided enough for the amount of guests we had , but they did not provide us any. Asked if the hotel provided bags for dirty laundry like others do, the front staff told me “ I don’t know.” There is breakfast provided, but you have to sign up for a time slot which is interesting. Our shower wasn’t fully cleaned because there was still sand in there from other guests. Additionally, our hot water didn’t work. Eventually it did get resolved though. One of the front desk staff members was helpful in regard to that. At the moment only one of the pools is available to use. The other is empty. There is construction going on so it is noisy!

The hotel has a nice view of the sea, the rooms are clean, but the pool is very neglected, the floor is broken and the area around the pool is very damaged, the beach is dirty, it has garbage around. The good thing is that in front of the hotel they have several restaurants to eat and the breakfast they offer is good.

This hotel needs a serious remodeling. Parking not safe. Building is falling apart. Dirty bedding and towels. Smelly place. Restaurant so not inviting. Only chairs and tables, no decorations! Food was ok. Staff not very informative. Pool área so old with a few old lounge chairs. No garden! I will never come here again!

Hotel not as advertised . Hotel is in terrible conditions . Furniture in the room falling apart . One of the most uncomfortable beds I’ve slept in. I will never stay here again and regret staying here because for the same price there was other hotels that I’m sure are in better conditions . They need to update the pictures or the hotel because the hotel rooms and pool area does not look as advertised .

En general todo el servicio está bien, recibes lo justo por lo que pagas, lo cual está muy bien. Algunas consideraciones: Necesitas dejar $500 MXN en efectivo durante tu estancia como garantía de que devolverás los controles de TV y aire acondicionado que te proporcionan en recepción. Además, el check in puede ser algo lento si hay muchas gente en recepción, en mi caso tarde 30 minutos en la fila para hacerlo.

Place is dirty, old socks from previous guests left in room, no towels in the room, bathroom very dirty ( look like and abandoned building taken over by homeless people). called front desk and they said someone will bring towels but didn’t say when; after waiting for a while I wen and got them myself. Elevator very slow so I had to use the stairs. Rented for two nights but checked out after the first one. Called booking agent the first night to address the situation and they gave a bunch of excuses. Never using that company or that hotel again. Try to say the name but rejected my review several times… how convenient.

What's unique is the discount price and the ocean view. Room size is right for 2 people but cleanliness is not the best. Good enough for 1 night but no more than that. It needs a lot of maintenance and renovation.

Very little English speaking staff. Rooms not as advertised. Not enough chairs at the pool. Grounds around the pool are uneven and many people fell stepping or tripping off ledges. Shortage of pool towels. Bar is very expensive for offerings. Very limited breakfast with supply issues. Elevators are slow and scary with banging noises.

The location is perfect views spectacular. The pool was nice and the perfect temperature. Breakfast okay could be better. The rooms have lots of room but not many places to put cloths. Cleaning staff try but seem very unorganized. This would be a perfect hotel with some updating in rooms. Having said all that we would stay again as the price is right with a great walking beach in front.

I would recommend people to stay elsewhere. Dirty rooms (don’t look under the bed),stained bedding,terrible wifi and balconies that don’t lock..but that’s not really a problem because I don’t think anyone would want to break in to this place. Breakfast is just so/so and you have to ask for everything. NO early check-in so don’t bother asking. Two thumbs down!

We love the view. The location is great. It was noisy into the night for many nights we couldn’t sleep. Slow drain in our room. The service in restaurant could be improved. We waited an hour for simple hamburger. All in all, we got what we needed and wanted.

Property has a central location in Zona Dorada which made it very convenient. Despite reserving a room w a queen bed, I received a room with a full size bed. According to the receptionist at the lobby, all rooms had the same size bed, which was hard to believe since their website and my reservation clearly stated that there would be a queen size bed. It made it difficult for my wife and I to share the bed. In addition, the walls are very thin and despite it being the low season, they managed to put everyone in neighboring rooms so we heard the kids crying next door at 6am and the other guests karaoking 2 rooms down until 2am. Furthermore, the worst part had to be the cleanliness of the room. Upon arriving, our room still had a dirty floor and there was a strong urine odor coming from the toilet area. I’m not sure if it was a plumbing issue or if the cleaning was subpar but the daily cleaning would only mask the stench for an hour or so before it began wreaking again. I travel to Mazatlan at least 3 times a year and this has easily been the worst hotel experience of my life.

Good location, big rooms with nice ocean views. No safe in our room. Bad news was the staff do a light cleaning and once you pull back the sheets and unroll the towels you realize they were not changed (with fresh stains on them).
