Solid stay in Merida
Good location close to the Parque de Santa Ana at the end of the Paseo de Montejo. If you get a north side room the early morning traffic may disturb you but otherwise the area is quite quiet. Nice relaxing walking distance to most places in the city. The room was very comfortable and most notably the sheets and towels smelled divine and fresh. The showers were hot and powerful. There was no breakfast available at the time of our stay due to 'remodelling' but we saw no activity whilst we were there. Wifi was strong and front desk friendly.

This property used to have a basic breakfast included in the price. Since I last was in Merida, it has been taken over by new owners. They have big plans for the place, but for now the breakfast is sadly no more. On the upside, rooms now sport small fridges, so it is easy to cool water and store a few simple things for breakfast should you desire.

An unexpected surprise!
Last minute stay as our plans with another hotel fell through and was fully booked. Casa Continental was clean the room was completely comfortable. The bathroom was super clean and water pressure was amazing. I will definitely return.

Casa continental is in a great location, lots of activity & beautiful architecture in the area. My toilet broke a couple times & the Wi-Fi was spotty (even more so than usual in Merida), but otherwise a nice spot.
