Such a beautiful hotel in a wonderful setting however the pool was unusable due to pods falling from the tree above! They littered the area and fell all day long which was annoying. Without that issue I would give it 5 stars!

Beautiful property in a good location in walking distance of Passeo Montejo and zocalo. Good restaurants in the area. Staff were exceptionally friendly and helpful. We were sad to leave. Thanks Eduardo, Marcellino and Mario for making our stay so pleasant!

Nice boutique hotel located in the city center
Very nicely refurbished secretary school with 8 charming rooms and a nice interior patio with pool, hamacs and chillout areas. Great location and staff too!

Amazing Stay!
Hotel is gorgeous, in a great location next to some of the best restaurants, parking was one building down in a secure lot. Staff was incredibly helpful and kind. We had a really lovely and relaxing visit. Can’t wait to go back!

First the boutique hotel is just that, small, beautiful, just the right rooms to feel like you own this great place. Prior arrival they contacted me numerous times to ensure they were excited of my arrival. They arrangements they made for transportation from Merida to Cancun to catch my flight was half the cost because they have a private car. One evening I didn't feel like going out for dinner, they called their favorite pizza place and not only had it delivered, but brought me a plate, silverware, salt, pepper, just like room service. They offer breakfast only, but the selections are grand and the preparations were of a 5 star restaurant. They have a mini fridge, full of selections but if course with additional charges. Same for coffee maker, first round free but afterwards a minimal charge. The staff from front of house to back if house made the hotel unique. They were there but never imposing on your space. During covid-19 the guidelines were not only followed but above expectations. I don't believe I would stay anywhere else when I vacation in Merida.

a beautiful, little boutique in the heart of downtown Merida. Would definitely stay again. Nice pool and comfortable furniture to lounge around in. an influencer hotspot!

Casa Lecanda was absolutely amazing!! It was even more beautiful than all the pictures. The service was impeccable and the hotel was lovely. It was a nice, quiet, relaxing retreat in a great area of the city... Within walking distance to many sites and restaurants. It was one of the most serene places I've ever been. I highly recommend to anyone traveling to Merida...you must stay here !!

The only place to stay in Merida! Phenomenal staff and best service ever. Now one of our top 5 hotels anywhere in the world. Worth a trip to Merida just to sit in the courtyards by the pool.

This place was amazing, unique and an Oasis in a dense city. The pool is clean and cold, the food was excellent, the rooms were generous sized, the hammocks were so nice.

The hotel facilities are beautiful and charming, clearly restored with great care and attention to detail. But the best part of Casa Lecanda is the staff. Every one of them was friendly, professional, and eager to help us enjoy our visit.

This was one of the nicest hotels we’ve ever stayed at — decor was beautiful, staff was so attentive, cleanliness personified. Location was also convenient with several excellent restaurants nearby (our favorite was Micaela, a seafood foodie’s delight) as well as el Paseo de Montejo.

Fantastic experience; room was very clean and spacious (we stayed in Elia, a garden suite). Pool was lovely, staff was extraordinarily attentive. Would highly recommend to any visitors to Merida. I'd love to return!
