Nice LocationPosted Nov 21, 2014
Pros: nice location
Cons: staff, room/bathroom facilities, plenty of room for improvement
Location: we were in town for NASCAR in Homestead, easy drive, nice overall location
hotel is in need of updating. Had to ask for coffee for the room everyday, had to ask for an extra towel. no hot water in the bathroom sink but scalding in the shower. Very outdated

Modest hotel for short stayPosted Nov 18, 2014
Pros: It had old-time charm and its history is fascinating. Very good dinner at the Greek restaurant.
Cons: Room was clean, but the carpet had an "old" smell.
Location: Located in the "banking"/business district of Coral Gables---about 1/2 mile from other restaurants and the night life of the area.
We needed a last minute reservation and Chateaubleu worked out just fine. Not fancy, but tidy and friendly. EXCELLENT Greek restaurant.

HOTEL GOOD; STAFF GREATPosted Nov 12, 2014
The Hotel was very clean but a bit dated. The staff was absolutely wonderful. The desk clerk was very helpful and friendly. Other staffers were also just great. That is what I will remember about my stay and what I have told friends. Being close to the airport there is some noise but with the windows and curtains shut I did not find it a problem.

Good value for purposePosted Nov 11, 2014
Pros: Close to Gran Fonda event and good price
Cons: Parking and comfort of bed
Location: Good location. Close to high activity area
Stayed at the hotel to do the Gran Fondo bicycle ride. Was convenient and the hotel was adequate for that. Not a five star but good value for an overnight stay

OK if cheapPosted Nov 10, 2014
Pros: Good location, most Coral Gables hotels are much more expensive.
Clean but old. Motel feel. 1st room we were assigned, the key card didn't work. Gave us a different room. Built in 1920.

Very quiet areaPosted Nov 3, 2014
The hotel was ok , staff ok, nothing special and no breakfast I was extremely disappointed I was told I had to pay for tea, breakfast was two slices of toast not what I expected as I was told continental breskfast. Thus was disappointing. My room had no fridge it was suppose to. I wasn't overall happy but it was just ok.

Good locationPosted Oct 23, 2014
The location was perfect for me, 10 mins from the airport in a very nice, upscale area . The room and my bed was big. I was happy with everything and very comfortable however i hated that the hotel entrance didnt have automatic doors.i struggled to open the door with 2 suitcases as well as when i came back from shopping. The price was a bit expensive for a hotel like that.ive stayed at super 8 that was half the price and wayyyy better.

CORAL GABLES HOTELPosted Oct 20, 2014
The hotel was fine. It was within walking distance to a friends house we were visiting while in Miami/Coral Gables. Nice area, safe. Beds and accommodates were fine. Not a 4 star, but it suited our needs.
