"Everything here was above and beyond nicer than home. Such a beautiful property and wonderful host. We loved it here! We enjoyed making breakfast in the kitchen which had everything we could need and Kiwi our pup loved the yard. Seriously would give this place 6 stars if I could. The house is beautiful and well cared for and full of cool historical details & decors. Thanks again for having us!"

"Cape Girardeau is about the halfway point for us (Wisconsin) and friends from Mississippi. This VRBO is ideally located within walking distance to plenty of restaurants, shops and bars. Property is very clean, has the basics and communication with the owner was super easy. The saloon-style doors for the downstairs bathroom were a little unexpected, but we made it work. We enjoyed our stay and would recommended this property for a long weekend."

We were so excited to be able to view the eclipse from the property, which meant that we didn't have to deal with traffic getting home or to other lodging. Sherry was a great host. The cabin was quiet and clean. and just perfect for a two-night stay. "
