"My mom, 89, wanted a place where she and her kids could be together in comfort and see something new. The Stone House was the perfect base from which to explore the west coast of Ireland. The house was creative and cozy and special. We absolutely loved it and would recommend it to anyone."

'The Swallow Loft' at Leitriff House - 19thC Stone Barn conversion

"We had a lovely stay at the Swallow Loft. It is a very unique property perfectly close to Galway’s city center. Peggy was very responsive especially with the issue with the humidity level we were experiencing in the place. I think this place is best for 2 people as the bedroom/bathroom at the lower level smelled a little musty. The overall cleaning looked ok but not fresh."

Galway's CastleHacket House Friar Room

"We stayed for two nights and had a lovely, peaceful time. The food was delicious, prepared by Joyce, and we got a ton of advice and insight about the area and Ireland in general from Aidan. They were very friendly and welcoming, and the house and grounds are gorgeous and steeped in Irish history. If we ever come back to Tuam, we'd happily stay again!"

Ballindooley Castle 10 minutes to Galway City

"Our family reunion of 6 stayed here for a week and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay in this amazing 450 year old Tower. We had meals and played games in the great room, viewed the sunsets from the rooftop ramparts and generally lived like the Royal family (minus the servants of course). It served as an unforgettable and spectacular setting for a long overdue reunion for our family. We would return in a heartbeat."

"I truly cannot thank the host, Rachel, for all her care, time and planning with my family's trip to Ireland for the first time. The house is gorgeous, accommodating and cozy. Every detail that is advertised for this property is exactly correct even above and beyond what you would expect. We had a large group from ages 10-73 and we all loved our stay. I would like to kindly thank Rachel for everything she provided and did for us. I highly recommend this host and property."

SEAVIEW COTTAGE, pet friendly, with open fire in Fanore, County Clare
8.0 out of 10, Very Good, (2)
"La maison, tout au bout d'un chemin, au milieu de prairies où paissent les vaches et courent les lapins, offre un très beau panorama sur la baie de Galway et les îles d'Aran. Il faut parcourir une douzaine de kilomètres pour faire ses courses à Ballyvaughan sur une route le plus souvent côtière parfois assez étroite où circulent des autobus de tourisme. Si la maison est confortable et bien aménagée, elle aurait besoin d'un nettoyage général approfondi."
